68-year-old dead following Monday afternoon crash in Marystown
Police are investigating a motorcycle-vehicle crash in Marystown that left a 68-year-old man dead. In a news release, the RCMP said it received a report of a collision involving a motorcycle and an SUV at the intersection of Route 210 and Route 220 in Marystown around 4:15 p.m. N.T. on Monday. Police say the motorcycle driver was travelling north on Route 210 when it struck an SUV turning left from Route 220. Both drivers were transported to Burin Peninsula Health Care Centre for treatment. "The man who was operating the motorcycle died in hospital. The driver of the SUV sustained non-life threatening injuries," the RCMP said. The investigation, which includes the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner, is ongoing.

Cyclist in hospital with serious injuries after being hit by SUV
A 20-year-old Kitchener man is in an out-of-region hospital with serious injuries after being hit by a Toyota SUV Tuesday evening in the downtown area. Police were called to the intersection of King Street E. and Cedar Street N. just before 6 p.m. for reports of a collision between the SUV and a cyclist. The 38-year-old Kitchener man who was driving the SUV was not injured, police said in a release. The intersection was closed for several hours for the investigation. Police say charges are anticipated in the case. Anyone who may have witnessed the collision or who have video footage of what happened is asked to contact the Waterloo Regional Police Service.

Multi-vehicle crash near Milltown, Minnesota, kills 1 and injures 2, officials say
One person is dead and two more are injured after colliding with one another on Highway 35 South of 210 Avenue South of the village of Milltown, officials say. According to a press release from the Polk County Sheriff's Office, the accident occurred on Friday at approximately 3:24 p.m. Officials say northbound traffic had slowed to allow for wildlife to cross the highway when a northbound pick up truck swerved to avoid rear ending the slowing traffic. Despite the driver's efforts, the pick up truck struck a vehicle, "glanced off" into southbound traffic where it struck an SUV head-on. The driver of the SUV was pronounced dead at the scene, says the press release. The driver of the pick up truck was reported to have non-life threatening injuries, while the driver of the rear ended vehicle was reported to have minor injuries. The crash remains under investigation by the Polk County Sheriff's Office.

Motorcyclist dies in crash on Blanding Boulevard in Clay County
A 37-year-old Orange Park man is dead after the motorcycle he was riding collided with an SUV Friday on Blanding Boulevard. The wreck occurred north of Ridgewood Avenue at about 5:20 p.m. The motorcyclist was traveling northbound on Blanding when he, 'failed to maintain a safe distance' and hit the right side of an SUV turning into the Walmart parking lot, a Florida Highway Patrol news release states. >>> STREAM ACTION NEWS JAX LIVE <<< The 64-year-old SUV driver was not injured. Speed, alcohol possible factors in fatal St. Paul crash, police say
Alcohol may have been a factor in a crash in St. Paul, Minnesota, that killed one man and put another in the hospital, authorities said. The crash happened around 7:30 p.m. Sunday at Arlington Avenue West and Dale Street North, according to the St. Paul Police Department. A speeding driver in a sedan ran a red light and hit an SUV, pushing it 40 yards, police said. The SUV's driver was extricated from his vehicle and died at the scene. The sedan driver was hospitalized with injuries that were not life-threatening. "There is indication that alcohol may have played a factor," police said. WCCO
