Sabah-China Expo at SICC in November

Kota Kinabalu: Sabah is set to host the Sabah-China Expo 2025, scheduled to take place over three days at Sabah International Convention Centre (SICC) here this November. Sabah-China Chamber of Commerce (SCCC) Deputy President cum Secretary-General Ir Ts Tan Kok Jyh said the expo is part of efforts to attract investors and entrepreneurs from both China and Malaysia to strengthen Sabah's business sector. Advertisement 'Through this expo, we hope to attract more investors and entrepreneurs, whether from China or locally, to participate in business matching sessions aimed at developing various sectors such as agriculture, tourism and others. 'Preparations for the expo are already underway and everything is progressing smoothly,' he told the media after paying a courtesy call on the Head of State Tun Musa Aman at Istana Seri Kinabalu here Tuesday. Tan also said the SCCC is planning to lead a delegation of Sabah entrepreneurs to China this September to explore market opportunities and expand business networks in the country. 'We hope local entrepreneurs can expand their businesses globally, not only to China but also across the entire Asean region. Commenting on the courtesy call, Tan said it was to brief Musa on the progress of SCCC since its establishment in 2019 and to formally invite him to officiate the expo in November. KOTA KINABALU (Aug 5): Sabah will host the Sabah-China Expo 2025, scheduled for three days at the Sabah International Convention Centre (SICC) this November. Vice president 1 of the Sabah China Chamber of Commerce (SCCC), Ir. Ts. Tan KJ, JP stated that organizing the expo is part of initiatives to attract investors and entrepreneurs from China and locally to strengthen the business sector in the state. 'Through this expo, we hope to draw more investors and entrepreneurs, whether from China or locally, to participate in business matching sessions to advance various sectors such as agriculture, tourism and others. 'Preparations for the expo are underway, and so far, everything is progressing smoothly,' he told the media after paying a courtesy call to the Governor of Sabah, Tun Musa Aman, at the Seri Kinabalu Istana on Tuesday. According to Tan, SCCC also plans to lead a delegation of Sabah entrepreneurs to China this September, enabling them to explore market opportunities and business networks in the country firsthand. 'We hope local entrepreneurs can expand their businesses globally, not only to China but also throughout the ASEAN region. Regarding the courtesy call, Tan said it aimed to inform Tun Musa about SCCC's progress since its establishment in 2019 and to invite him to officiate the expo this November.
