Sabah women urged to take on greater leadership roles

KOTA KINABALU: Women must be empowered to take on greater leadership and decision-making roles to drive inclusive development in Sabah, said Assistant Community Development and People's Wellbeing Minister Datuk Flovia Ng. She highlighted the dual role women play in managing households while contributing economically, stressing their importance in building resilient communities.
Advertisement Speaking at the Sabah International Convention Centre on Monday, Flovia called for more empathetic women leaders and increased female representation in public administration and politics. She said the Engagement with Sabah's Women Leaders programme aims to strengthen women's participation in leadership across all levels of society.
