Ozzy Osbourne and Black Sabbath Have Good News Ahead Of Final Show

Can't make it to Birmingham to see Ozzy Osbourne and Black Sabbath's final performance? No problem. With Ozzy Osbourne on vocals, Tony Iommi on guitar, Geezer Butler on bass, and Bill Ward on drums, Black Sabbath became synonymous with heavy metal in the 1970s, with albums like Paranoid, Master of Reality, and Sabbath Bloody Sabbath. And when the band fired Ozzy in 1979, the singer launched a successful solo career (while the band released some good albums with Ronnie James Dio, Ian Gillan and more). And on July 5, those legendary careers come to a close with "Back to the Beginning," a massive event culminating in the final Ozzy Osbourne and Black Sabbath performances ever. The lineup for the event features performances by Metallica, Guns N' Roses, Gojira, Mastodon, Alice In Chains and more. There will also be a "supergroup of musicians," including such stars as K.K. Downing of Judas Priest/KK Priest, Tom Morello of Rage Against the Machine, Wolfgang Van Halen, Steven Tyler of Aerosmith, and Billy Corgan of Smashing Pumpkins. And you can watch it from the comfort of your home! While some fans will make the trek to Villa Park in Birmingham, England, to experience the show in person, the official Back To The Beginning website announced that you can watch the global all-day livestream. Access to the livestream will cost $29.99. You can also bundle the live stream with an exclusive "Back to the Beginning" t-shirt. The site notes that for Ozzy fans around the world to "experience this monumental event, the livestream will be delayed 2 hours from the in-arena start time. The stream will begin: 3:00 pm BST, 10:00 am EDT, 7:00 am PDT." Ozzy, who has battled health issues and Parkinson's Disease over the years, promises to give it "120%" in this final show.
