Carrera Eyewear collaborates Pat Cummins
Hyderabad: Carrera Eyewear, a part of Safilo Group has announced an exclusive co-branded collection with Australian Cricket Test and One Day International Captain, Pat Cummins. In partnership with Carrera's talented design team in Italy, Pat has customised six of his favourite Carrera styles, introducing three new sunglasses and three optical frames available in India from May 2025. Pat said: 'I am thrilled to partner with Carrera, a brand that shares my passion for excellence. After a successful year as the brand's ambassador, I am really proud to have my own CARRERA|PAT CUMMINS Collection which is a true reflection of our shared perspective to be bold and stand out from the crowd.' Each piece features an exclusive new green colour, inspired by the Australian green and gold colourways, along with Pat's signature printed in gold and the inscription 'Pat Cummins Selection' on the temples to affirm the uniqueness of the product.

Carrera names Pat Cummins as 2025 brand ambassador, launches dedicated collection
Carrera Eyewear has named Australian cricketer Pat Cummins as its brand ambassador for 2025, renewing its partnership with the sportsman. The brand has also announced an early new release of the Carrera|Pat Cummings selection, designed to align with the eyewear label's positioning around high-performance lifestyle and sporting spirit. As part of the collaboration, Cummins is currently wearing the Carrera CSport 02 model from the latest Carrera Sport Collection, both during cricket matches and training, Carrera announced in a press release. The Sport Collection features eyewear in bold colours inspired by Carrera's archives, equipped with technical elements such as gum nose pads and adaptable temples. These are designed for comfort and customisation, with end-tip holes that allow for accessories like bands to keep the frames secure during physical activity. Carrera was founded in 1956 and is part of the Safilo Group. The label is known for its sunglasses, prescription frames, and sport eyewear, designed to mix style with functionality. Cummins first joined Carrera as brand ambassador in 2023. The upcoming Carrera|Pat Cummings Selection marks the evolution of this partnership into a dedicated product range. Cummins, captain of the Australian national cricket team and current skipper of Sunrisers Hyderabad in the IPL, led Australia to victory in the 2023 ODI World Cup and the 2021–2023 World Test Championship. Carrera chose Cummings as a brand ambassador for his reflection of the brand's ethos and his position in India will enable the brand to connect with more shoppers and cricket fans in the country.
