Vadodara SOG nabs drug peddler using drone surveillance
Vadodara: A wanted drug peddler was arrested in city's Samta area after the Special Operations Group (SOG) used a drone to track him down.
The accused, Sagar Suthar, had been hiding for days in a densely wooded spot, evading police. Acting on a tip-off, officers deployed a drone, captured his location on camera, and swiftly moved in before he could flee.
Suthar was wanted under the NDPS Act in connection with a recent case where drugs worth lakhs were seized. His name emerged during the probe, prompting an intensive manhunt that ended with the high-tech capture.
