The son of Tiger Woods claimed his first major win at the Team TaylorMade Invitational in Florida, announcing his arrival not just as a Woods, but as a serious competitor in junior golf. Charlie finished the tournament at 15-under par. Over three days at Streamsong Resort's Black Course, he played with steady confidence ,opening with a two-under 70, then firing a 7-under 65 on day two. On the final day, Charlie sealed his victory with a 6-under 66, winning by three strokes over a field packed with the world's best amateurs, including Miles Russell, Luke Colton, and Tyler Watts. On the week of March 25, Woods was ranked No. 603 in the AJGA boys rankings, 235 places higher than he was before Sage Valley.
