Donald Trump reveals who would win in golf clash with granddaughter Kai, 17
Donald Trump insists granddaughter Kai is a 'fantastic' golfer with a bright future in the sport - despite claiming she isn't on his level just yet.
Kai, 17, is set to play collegiate golf at the University of Miami after committing to the school last year and has ambitions to turn pro one day.
Her grandfather - who owns 18 courses across the globe, including 11 in the US - also has a huge passion for golf and frequently enjoys a round at one of his various clubs in Florida.
In her latest YouTube vlog, Kai documented their trip to watch a UFC show in Miami together earlier this month, where they were also joined by her brothers Donny, 16, and Spencer, 12.
And one moment in the vlog shows the aspiring golfer enjoying a quick chat with her granddad about her progression in the sport.
'I just wanna say that I play a lot of golf with Kai and she's a fantastic golfer,' Trump tells the camera. 'She's a scratch player, which is amazing. I think some day in the not-too-distant future she's gonna be much better than scratch.'
However, the president stressed that there would only be one winner if they battled it out on the course.
'She's doing really well and she wins a lot of matches,' he added. 'And some day she'll be able to beat her grandfather, but I'm not sure when that'll be... it might be a long time!'
Trump could then be seen laughing as his granddaughter jokingly challenged him to a one-on-one showdown.
Kai's golfing career was dealt a major setback last month when she suffered a meltdown at the Sage Valley Junior Invitational.
Donald Trump Jr's daughter was among the field of rising stars competing at the elite junior golf competition, yet as spectators in MAGA caps and secret service traipsed after her, she dropped a staggering 12 shots over seven holes alone on the back nine seeing her slump to 52-over for the tournament - almost double the score of her closest competitor.
Kai finished with rounds of 79, 89, and 83, leaving her 22 shots behind the bottom of the leaderboard. She finished dead last in the 24-player girls' field.
Nonetheless, she still saw her ranking move from 815th to 530th on the girls' rankings at the end of March.
In the rest of her UFC vlog, Kai could be seen chatting with Miami Hurricanes basketball duo Haley and Hanna Cavinder.
She even got onto the topic of Hanna's ugly breakup with football quarterback Carson Beck, who was accused of cheating on her before their split.
'Does he have friends?' Kai Trump asked the Cavinder Twins about Beck.
'No, nobody likes him,' Hanna said of her ex-boyfriend.

Alex Pereira breaks silence on 'retirement' jibe with nine-word message
The former light-heavyweight champion is hoping to return to action later this year despite Magomed Ankalaev's claims that the Brazilian is 'retired' Alex Pereira has clapped back at Magomed Ankalaev, expressing his desire to make a comeback to the octagon later this year. The Brazilian was on the receiving end of a surprise loss to Ankalaev at UFC 313 earlier this year. The build-up to their light-heavyweight bout was marred by a war of words, with tensions running high and nearly boiling over before they even stepped into the cage. Since clinching the 205lb title, Ankalaev is desperate to stay active inside the cage and has continued to carry on his rivalry with 'Poatan'. The Russian accused the Pereira camp of stalling negotiations and believes that the former light-heavyweight king is 'retired.' Despite the post-UFC 313 drama, Pereira is keen to even the score and win back the gold strap. In a recent interview with UFC Brazil, the 37-year-old set the record straight regarding the status of his second bout with Ankalaev. "We'll definitely be talking about my next fight soon," he said. "I don't have a specific date yet, but we already have an idea. I took this time off to rest, because I worked hard in 2024. I think my body got tired, I had some injuries, so I decided to take it easy, more on the recovery side, and now I'm coming back. To come back [the right way]: firm and strong, to go after my belt again." Ankalaev recently stated that he had agreed to fight Pereira in June, July and August, following reports that both fighters had consented to a rematch. Despite his insistence that the Brazilian is 'done,' it appears likely that the Russian's first title defence will be an immediate sequel against the knockout artist. The Russian's remarks came just weeks after the Brazilian fan-favourite claimed he was 'hacked' on X, following a post suggesting he had threatened UFC CEO Dana White with retirement. "I don't even know what's going on. I have a great relationship with the UFC," said Pereira. Daniel Cormier, who shares a good relationship with 'Poatan', didn't buy his response. "Pereira is a liar," Cormier declared. "Pereira did not get hacked yesterday. "Pereira might have tweeted something and then somebody called him and was like, 'Yo, calm down. Let's chill.' I don't believe the hack thing, mate. It's too convenient. It was very unusual. It was too specific. He didn't use profanity. It kind of sounded like Pereira." Pereira had posted: "I always answered the UFC's calls. But if they want to play with me, we can do that. I've never spoken poorly of the UFC but with what I've just heard I'm disheartened. I've already had thoughts of not fighting anymore, and after what was just relayed to me this may be the start." 'Poatan,' however, is now back in training and appears to be preparing for his return to the cage. The rematch was initially suggested to take place at UFC 318 in Chicago, before the announcement of the Dricus du Plessis vs Khamzat Chimaev headliner by the promotion. Now, the earliest possible date for this fight could be September at UFC 319.

Sean O'Malley issues five-word response after Conor McGregor praise
The American has traded barbs with the former dual-weight champion in recent times, but it seems as if they have rekindled their relationship Sean O'Malley has seemingly buried the hatchet with Conor McGregor ahead of his return to the cage this weekend. The former bantamweight champion is gearing up for a return to the octagon on Saturday as he goes head-to-head with Merab Dvalishvili in an eagerly anticipated rematch at the Prudential Center in Newark. The pair originally clashed last September - with Dvalishvili going on to claim the 135lb title after securing a unanimous decision win. Following that triumph, Dvalishvili successfully defended his title back in January, beating Umar Nurmagomedov by decision. 'Suga,' on the other hand hasn't stepped into the cage since his defeat at UFC 306. Given how dominant the Georgian was in the first encounter, many are backing the 'Machine' to win again. Yet, one unexpected supporter in O'Malley's corner is McGregor – surprising many. Despite being respectful of each other at first, their relationship took a sour turn over the last few years. The pair have traded verbal jabs online- with McGregor slamming 'Suga' over his previous issues with USADA. Nevertheless, it seems they have moved past their grievances. McGregor lavished praise on O'Malley, remarking that his training camp echoes of McGregor's own ahead of his second bout with Nate Diaz: "Very reminiscent of my Diaz 2 prep. Intriguing! BIG FIGHT FEEL!" The Irishman wrote on X. After hearing the news, O'Malley expressed delight at having the 'Notorious' in his corner once more. "Hell yeah, I will take it," O'Malley said during the UFC 316 media day. "I will forever be a huge Conor fan. I feel grateful to be able to watch his come up in my generation, I watched it happen. I think we'll look back, he had one of the craziest careers. It's cool to be able to watch it happen while I was getting into the UFC and everything. I'm pumped the relationship is back to good." The 30-year-old added: "I have always taken inspiration from Conor fights. I've watched Conor fights more than probably any (fights), well, (I watch) my fights more, but I've watched a lot of Conor fights." In preparation for the upcoming rematch, O'Malley revealed he has watched plenty of sequels, including McGregor's second bout with Diaz - to see how they responded in the second bout when they were counted out. "So I was watching Conor-Nate. I've just been watching a bunch of fights. We just have cameras recording so much, I did not realise that was a moment that got captured," he said. "I've been watching a bunch of fights. I've been watching some rematches."

UFC fans slam Conor McGregor's latest video amid comeback speculation
The Irishman has been out of action since losing to Dustin Poirier in 2021, but has been hinting at a return to the octagon in recent weeks UFC fans are losing their patience with Conor McGregor after watching new training footage he shared online. The MMA icon - who will be 37 in July - hasn't stepped into the octagon since his defeat to Dustin Poirier in 2021. Last year, the Irishman was due to take on former Bellator lightweight champion Michael Chandler, but withdrew from the clash after picking up an injury in training. It's still uncertain if the former dual-weight champion will return to competitive action. In recent weeks, McGregor has teased a possible comeback by posting videos of his training routines, suggesting he's preparing for a bout. The latest clips show the 'Notorious' working out with heavy weights in the gym. While some supporters are keen on seeing him fight again, others have grown restless and uninterested. His workout video quickly spread across social media, with many heading straight for the comments section to express their doubts. One fan wrote: "We don't care. There're only so many times you can fake a comeback," Another user commented: "Conor's seasonal workout video to make everyone talk about his comeback." A third fan brutally posted "No one cares," while another added: "That's good for him doesn't do anything for fans because he ain't fighting," and another chimed in with: "He's not coming back." Additionally, there were a few who criticised the Irishman's physical state, remaining unconvinced by what they saw. "Ankle not looking real jacked," one fan wrote, while another bluntly added: "Jacked? What are you looking at? He looks like s*** with no muscle maturity," A third chimed in with: "Looks outta shape!" and a fourth observed, "Anyone who lifts knows he's been eating horribly and not working out. Gassed after one set!" The 36-year-old has recently hinted at a return to the ring, stating his condition for a comeback: "I'll only come back to a stadium," he declared. In a taunting move, he also reignited his rivalry with Chandler, posting, "IRON MIKE CHANDLER. Unfinished business." His comments came not long after UFC 314, where he showed interest in the lightweight bout between Chandler and Paddy Pimblett. McGregor posted a video of himself training in Dubai, captioning it with, "I am interested in the Chandler/Pimblett fight this weekend" tagging both the UFC and its owners TKO. The clash eventually saw Pimblett secure a dramatic third-round knockout victory. However, in March, he hinted that his time in the UFC may be coming to an end, stating that he is content with what he has achieved in his fighting career. "I've got two fights on the contract, I'm in negotiations," he said at a BKFC event. "Last week something happened to me, I went to the White House and my heart bleeds for my country right now. So there's a lot of stuff going on back home, I'm happy with what I've done. There's something else for me that's in my gut right now and that's kind of where I'm going."
