Wagle Ki Duniya: Sai Darshan Society conducts self-defence classes for women's safety
In the upcoming episodes of Wagle Ki Duniya – Nayi Peedhi Naye Kissey, the narrative takes a socially relevant turn as the Sai Darshan Society introduces self-defence classes for women. The plot begins when young Kittu (Mahi Soni) expresses her wish to join a self-defence class. Initially, Dakku (Deepak Pareek) and Harshad (Amit Soni) downplay her desire, arguing that girls don't need to learn how to defend themselves. However, Rajesh Wagle (Sumeet Raghavan) provides a progressive perspective, asserting that every girl has the right to protect herself, just like any boy. A turning point comes when Sakhi (Chinmayee Salvi) and Gungun (Nandini Maurya) face harassment while commuting on a bus. This incident prompts Harshad to reevaluate his beliefs, ultimately acknowledging that Rajesh was right all along. In response, Sai Darshan Society brings in a martial arts trainer to conduct self-defence sessions for the women. As the men struggle with household chores, the women rise to the occasion and embrace the training. Together, they come up with a plan to ride the same bus again and confront the harassers directly. by Taboola by Taboola Sponsored Links Sponsored Links Promoted Links Promoted Links You May Like Giao dịch vàng CFDs với mức chênh lệch giá thấp nhất IC Markets Đăng ký Undo Speaking about the track, Sumeet Raghvan, who plays Rajesh Wagle, shared, 'Rajesh Wagle is an inspiration in the way he consistently stands up for gender equality , whether at home or in society. Here too, he firmly believes that if girls want to learn self-defence, they not only have the right but also the need to do so. He believes girls should be whatever they want to be; strong, independent, and unafraid. As a father, while his instinct is to protect, he knows true protection lies in empowering them to protect themselves. This track is important, and I'm so glad the show is taking it up with such sensitivity. It's a conversation that needs to reach every household that safety and strength aren't just for boys — they're for everyone.' The show continues to win hearts with its family-oriented storytelling, while bravely spotlighting urgent social issues like women's safety and empowerment.

Exclusive: Wagle Ki Duniya's Sugandha Mishra on how she keeps her baby girl entertained; says ‘I'm doing everything from funny voices to beatboxing'
Comedian and actress Sugandha Mishra , currently seen as the over-the-top Suman Gadhiya in Wagle Ki Duniya , is winning hearts both on screen and off it. In an exclusive chat with Times of India TV, the multi-talented star opened up about motherhood , her creative bonding time with her baby girl, and the balance between her reel and real-life roles. 'Motherhood has transformed me in the best way possible!' Sugandha shared. 'It has made me grow into a more elevated, composed, and honestly, more creative person. With my little one, I'm constantly coming up with new ways to entertain her—because we keep her screen time limited. So now I'm doing everything from funny voices to beatboxing and even making up silly rhymes.' She added with a laugh, 'Even though she's just 15 months old, she's already started mimicking animal sounds—lion, dog, cat—even before saying 'mama' or 'papa'. It's the cutest thing ever. She's my little audience, my biggest cheerleader.' Balancing her on-screen chaos with her off-screen cuddles hasn't been a challenge, Sugandha said. 'Not at all! I actually love it. Being on set, diving into a crazy character like Suman, and then coming home to my little munchkin—it's the perfect balance. And no matter how exhausting the day has been, the moment I see her running towards me with that big smile, everything else just fades away. That's my biggest recharge. Truly, nothing compares to that feeling.' For those unfamiliar, Sugandha plays Suman Gadhiya in Wagle Ki Duniya—a dramatic woman pretending to research a role while secretly plotting something else. Using her charm, she convinces Yamini (played by Manasi Joshi) to let her temporarily stay at Sai Darshan Society. While she claims she's observing middle-class life for an upcoming role, her motives are far from innocent. Whether it's beatboxing for her toddler or embracing quirky characters on screen, Sugandha Mishra continues to delight audiences with her infectious energy and heartfelt honesty.
