JPJ Sarawak said the vehicles were seized during an integrated operation conducted at two strategic locations on the Kuching-Samarahan Expressway. 'During the operation, a total of 373 summonses were issued for various road traffic offences. 'Enforcement action also led to the seizure of 27 vehicles, comprising 23 motorcycles, one commercial lorry, and three luxury MPVs. 'These vehicles were impounded due to serious offences, namely expired road tax and lack of valid insurance coverage,' JPJ Sarawak said in a Facebook post. The integrated operation also saw the police issue 145 traffic summonses. 'The Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) reported no cases of corruption or misconduct, reflecting the smooth and integrity-driven collaboration among the participating agencies,' said JPJ Sarawak. The department thanked all agencies for demonstrating unwavering commitment to the success of the operation. 'This strategic collaboration was not merely a routine enforcement exercise, but a testament to the government's and enforcement bodies' resolve to uphold road safety, officer integrity, and the well-being of the public,' added JPJ Sarawak. Among those present were JPJ Sarawak deputy director Nor Azlan Ibrahim and Operations Section head Saifullah Ali. JPJ Sarawak Kuching-Samarahan Expressway lead
