Supermodel Christie Brinkley and her look-alike youngest daughter attract the same men despite their 44-year age difference. Brinkley, 71, revealed that her 27-year-old daughter Sailor Brinkley Cook once put her on dating app for an hour without her knowing — and to both their surprise, they had mutual matches. The titbit came out during Brinkley's discussion with Sex and the City star Kristin Davis on the 'Are You A Charlotte?' podcast. Davis noted that there was an 'extreme dichotomy' between men and women over 50 when it comes to dating, sharing that the men won't date women their own age, even though the women are beautiful and accomplished. In response, Brinkley — who's currently not on any dating apps — shared the result of Sailor's 'mischievous' experiment on the unnamed platform. 'She wanted to see what kind of guys [would match] … and she put me up there … and she said, 'Mum, you're right not to go on it, because the same guys that said yes to me, are saying yes to you',' Brinkley said. Davis reacted with shock and delight. 'Wow!' she responded in disbelief. 'Smart Sailor, that is a really fascinating little experiment.' Brinkley is a mum to three children: Alexa, 39, whom she shares with ex-husband Billy Joel; son Jack, 30, whom she shares with ex-husband Richard Taubman; and daughter Sailor, whom she shares with ex-husband Peter Cook. The iconic model has been married four times — Francois Allaux from 1973 to 1981, Joel from 1985 to 1994, Taubman from 1994 to 1995 and Cook from 1996 to 2008. In her recent memoir Uptown Girl, Brinkley recalled feeling devastated after finding out Cook had been unfaithful. She recalled the moment when a Hamptons police officer told her that her 'arrogant husband' was having an affair with his teenage daughter. 'When your whole world falls apart and you realise in a heartbeat you've suddenly become the cliche middle-aged woman whose husband is having an affair with a much (much) younger woman, what do you do?' the actress wrote in her book, which was released on April 29. Brinkley and Cook, 57, split after 10 years of marriage following the affair.

Christie Brinkley is sending love to her ex-husband Billy Joel, just days after the Grammy Award winner announced a devastating diagnosis. On Saturday, Brinkley – who was married to Joel from 1985 to 1994 – took to social media to share her support and offer words of encouragement as Joel prepares to battle normal pressure hydrocephalus (NPH), a rare disorder which affects his vision, hearing and balance. "Dear Billy, the whole Brinkley gang is sending you lots of love and good wishes for a full and speedy recovery," she wrote in the Instagram caption alongside a video of her and daughter Sailor Brinkley Cook dancing at one of Joel's concerts. "I was looking for some cute photos of you and Alexa [Brinkley and Joel's daughter] to send you, when I came across this clip from a recent concert. It made me laugh ... but it also reminded me of all the joy you create, and all the sensational sing-alongs you've [led]. NPH is a condition that happens when cerebrospinal fluid builds up inside the skull and presses on the brain. This condition is most likely to occur in people over age 65. Treating this condition involves surgery to implant a shunt to drain excess fluid from the inside of the skull, according to the Cleveland Clinic. In video obtained by Fox News Digital, Brinkley is seen swaying back and forth to "Uptown Girl," a song that Joel wrote about her in 1983. She was broadcast on the arena's big screen for the whole crowd to see. Pictures seemingly show Joel singing passionately to Brinkley. In 2010, Joel confirmed that "Uptown Girl" was written about Brinkley (she did appear in the music video), although he explained that there was more to the story. Christie Brinkley is showing support for her ex-husband Billy Joel following news of his recent brain diagnosis. The supermodel, who shares daughter Alexa Ray with the legendary singer, posted a video on Instagram Saturday -- just one day after Joel revealed he had been diagnosed with normal pressure hydrocephalus. Normal pressure hydrocephalus is one of two types of hydrocephalus, an "abnormal buildup of cerebrospinal fluid deep within the brain," according to the U.S. National Institute of Neurological Disorders and Stroke. CSF is the fluid that fills the brain's ventricles, or cavities, helping to cushion both the brain and spinal cord. When the flow of this fluid is disrupted and begins to accumulate in the ventricles, it can lead to normal pressure hydrocephalus. This condition can happen at any age but is more common among older adults and can lead to problems with walking, bladder control, and cognitive functions like thinking and reasoning, according to the NINDS.
