Grand Chess Tour, Saint Louis: Gukesh in fourth spot after rapid section
D. Gukesh moved up from sixth to fourth spot on the final day of the Rapid section at the Grand Chess Tour event in Saint Louis. Gukesh, the reigning world champion in classical chess, faced three Americans in the final three rounds on Wednesday. He began with a loss to Leinier Dominguez with white pieces. The Saint Louis Rapid & Blitz is the fourth leg of the 2025 Grand Chess Tour and the final rapid-and-blitz event of the season.

D. Gukesh slipped from third to sixth spot with six points after six rounds of the Rapid section at the Grand Chess Tour event in Saint Louis.
