Saudi delegation inspects Benina Airport to prepare for resumption of flights
A delegation from Saudi Arabia's civil aviation authority has visited Benina International Airport in Benghazi as part of preparations to resume direct flights between Saudi Arabia and Libya.
During the visit, which took place on Tuesday, the delegation was accompanied by Benina Airport Director Saleh Al-Omrani.
They toured key airport facilities and reviewed the services offered to both local and international airlines.
According to a statement published Wednesday on the airport's official Facebook page, the visit focused on assessing the airport's safety regulations, operational procedures, and adherence to international standards.
