'Glasgow's most Instagrammable bar' unveils sophisticated new look
A bar that was once hailed as Glasgow's most Instagrammable has undergone a full-scale refurbishment.
Derby Lane, situated along Argyle Street in Finnieston, has unveiled a sophisticated new look, complete with a basement speakeasy.
The makeover also includes an updated cocktail and wine menu, and a revamped all-day dining experience.

With more space and seating, the redesign provides a New York cocktail lounge vibe, creating a sleek yet intimate setting.

The all-day dining menu has also been upgraded to include a Salt and Chilli Chicken French Toast along with favourites such as Steak Frites and Blackened Salmon.
The bar also continues to serve its popular Frickles and expertly crafted martinis.

Bar Brooklyn is described as a 1970s-inspired sports bar.

It features multiple screens for live sports, a bold cocktail menu, and comfort-driven food options.
The sports bar takes a speakeasy approach to its drinks list, blending classic cocktails with unexpected twists.
(Image: Supplied) The Pizza Martini stands out, a bold reinvention of a Bloody Mary, featuring oregano-infused vodka, tomato, parmesan-infused vermouth, and basil oil.
Derby Lane's ethos of elevated casual dining with indulgent classics is carried over to Bar Brooklyn's menu.

It includes stacked burgers, crispy chicken strips, and Steak Frites, all served in a laid-back atmosphere.
The venue's operations manager, Camilla Bjørkestad, said: "Derby Lane has built a reputation as one of Glasgow's go-to destinations for creative cocktails and all-day dining.
"With Bar Brooklyn, we wanted to create something completely different—a space with a grittier, more laid-back energy that speaks to a male-skewed audience while still delivering the quality and creativity we're known for.
"We're confident that live sports, great food, and killer cocktails will bring something fresh to Finnieston."
