Bafana Bafana will host the Taifa Stars in an international friendly this evening at the Peter Mokaba Stadium in Polokwane. Kick-off will be at 19:30. Kaizer Chiefs target pictured in club tracksuit after agreeing to join!

Kaizer Chiefs have received a huge boost in the pursuit of one of their top transfer targets for next season. Chiefs are looking to add quality and depth to their squad as they prepare to compete on the continent next campaign. Last season was yet another one to forget for Chiefs, as they saw themselves finishing outside top eight. This was for the second season in a row, and only the third in their history. The only saving grace they had this time around was their Nedbank Cup trophy triumph. That win was not only their first trophy in 10 years, but a gateway into the CAF Confederation Cup next season. That will mean more games and more travelling rigours for the club. In order to combat that, while remaining competitive on the local front, Chiefs management will have to step up. This in the way of backing coach Nasreddine Nabi with a squad filled with quality in strength and depth. One of the targets he has been rumoured to desperately want is Feisal Salum. Amakhosi were rumoured to have been subjects of a bid to Azam FC for services in January. That bid was rejected but it is now reported that Azam are more receptive to selling Salum this window. Now according to FARPost, Chiefs coach Nabi has convinced the talented midfielder his project. It is believed that he is now ready to reject Simba SC to join Amakhosi! Salum is ironically in the country, but not for Chiefs or at least not just yet. He will be part of the Tanzania national team that takes on Bafana Bafana and plays the COSAFA Cup. While he isn't here for a move to Amakhosi, that hasn't stopped him from donning the club tracksuit top. Furthermore, he even threw up the famous peace sign synonymous with the club. Check it out! Chiefs fans, is this a sign that Salum is coming? Let us know by clicking on the comment tab. Or by emailing info@ or sending a WhatsApp to 060 011 021 1. The player will leave after the Zamalek and Pyramids match in the Egypt Cup final. Mayele has received incredible offers, offers exceeding $3 million (R55 million) and reaching $4 million (R74 million) per season. Kaizer Chiefs target an overrated, one-season wonder?

Kaizer Chiefs are scouring Africa for the best talent. However, their marquee target might have passed his sell-by date. Feisal Salum chipped in with an impressive 19 goals for Azam FC during the 2023-2024 campaign. That followed a glittering spell with Young Africans, where the talented playmaker collected consecutive trebles. A proven winner, Salum has 41 caps and four goals for his nation. The Zanzibar-born star hasn't replicated last season's form for Azam FC this time around. His last goal for the club came back in December 2024, and his side sits third in the Tanzanian Premier League, a massive 16 points adrift of leaders Young Africans. According to Goal, Feisal Salum is tempted by a move to link up with Nasreddine Nabi at Kaizer Chiefs. The 27-year-old Tanzanian midfield schemer worked alongside the Tunisian tactician at Young Africans. Although the Buccaneers are blessed with options at the sharp end with Tshegofatso Mabasa, Evidence Makgopa and Boitumelo Radiopane, they might be looking at a different style of number 9. Fiston Mayele is a popular name in the media, but will they go for a guy on the wrong side of 30, especially with a rumoured price tag of R12 million? What did Makgopa and Mabasa do to offend Hugo Broos? The Kaizer Chiefs Naturena Village in all its glory.
