YASMQC carries out field survey for markets in Capital, provinces
Sana'a - Saba: The Yemeni Authority for Standardization, Metrology and Quality Control (YASMQC) on Wednesday carried out a field campaign to survey the markets in the Yemeni capital and governorates. The campaign aimed to ensure that goods and products in the markets are subject to the supervision of the organization, especially juices, beverages and vegetable oils. YASMQC Executive Director General, Sam Al-Bashiri, told the Yemeni News Agency (Saba) that the campaign came within the framework of strengthening the organization's supervisory and awareness role and preserving the health and safety of the consumer and protecting the environment and the public safety of society. He explained that during the campaign, the extent to which stores selling targeted goods and products adhered to the requirements and conditions of the standard specifications and approved technical regulations related to display and storage was verified. Al-Bashiri stated that the campaign included providing technical instructions and instructions and distributing awareness posters to raise awareness among store owners and the local community, stressing that the violating products were withdrawn and seized and the necessary legal measures were taken against them. Training Courses on Accessing "Tas'heel" E-Service Portal
Sana'a - Saba: The Yemeni Authority for Standards, Metrology, and Quality Control has launched today training courses on how to access the "Tas'heel" e-service portal. The goal of these courses is to introduce traders and manufacturers to practical applications on how to access the "Tas'heel" e-service portal and use the systems and applications available within it, free of charge. At the opening, the Executive Director of the Authority, Sam Al-Bashiri, explained that the courses will assist traders and manufacturers in practically accessing the systems and applications under the "Tas'heel" e-service portal, enabling them to interact with and use the systems to register their products, track their transactions, and access the services offered through the portal. He pointed out that the courses will cover groups of registrants in the training, in line with the announcement where the Authority urged traders and manufacturers to quickly register their products and engage with the portal before the deadline of April 5, 2025.
