Sam Billings sparked a social media stir against Babar Azam by sharing a graphic comparing the fastest and slowest fifties in the ongoing PSL 2025. read more A comparison of the fastest and slowest fifties in the ongoing Pakistan Super League (PSL) 2025 by Sam Billings has led to the trolling of former Pakistan captain Babar Azam. England wicketkeeper-batter Billing, who plays for Lahore Qalandars, on Wednesday posted a graphic on his Instagram story which spoke about the fastest and slowest fifties in PSL 2025. While Billings has smashed the fastest fifty so far in just 19 balls against Quetta Gladiators, the slowest fifty belongs to Babar, a 47-ball half-century for Peshawar Zalmi against Islamabad United. It has to be noted that both fifties came in different conditions and winning causes. One of the users was quick to point out that Billings has himself trolled Babar by sharing the graphics. 'Bro Cooked Babar,' he wrote. Similar reactions were shared by multiple users. We have listed some of the reactions. 'Bro is getting trolled in his own country's league by a foreign player,' another user wrote. 'Really he uploaded this story ?' a surprised fan asked. 'Only Babar could miss a 50 (off 50 balls) in T20 by 3 deliveries. Incredible stuff,' another fan wrote. Meanwhile, the PSL is set to return from 17 May with Peshawar Zalmi facing Karachi Kings in the first match. The league was halted abruptly last week due to the India-Pakistan conflict. 'HBL PSL X picks up from where it left off,' PCB chairman Mohsin Naqvi wrote on X (formerly Twitter). '6 teams, 0 fear. Get ready for 8 thrilling matches starting 17th May, leading up to the Grand Final on 25th May. Best of luck to all the teams!' The remaining matches will be played across Rawalpindi and Lahore.

Pakistan Super League Moved Out Of Country; This Move Taken For Safety Of Overseas Players

Escalating tensions between India and Pakistan have led the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) to relocate the remainder of the Pakistan Super League (PSL) to Dubai, following security concerns raised by foreign players. In an emergency meeting chaired by PCB Chairman Mohsin Naqvi and attended by representatives from all six franchises, concerns expressed by overseas players were presented and ultimately prompted the decision to shift the league out of Pakistan. "Considering the safety and mental health of all the players involved in the PSL, the league is shifted to Dubai, where remaining matches will be held under a new schedule. Foreign players will be flown to Dubai early Friday," the PCB informed franchises in a letter, according to "The meeting looked at the option of moving the remaining eight matches -- four league and as many play-offs -- to Karachi but foreign players were not ready to stay in Pakistan after security concerns from several countries," sources said. Thirty-seven foreign players are involved in the League. From England, Sam Billings, James Vince, Tom Curran, David Willey, Chris Jordan, Tom Kohler-Cadmore and Luke Wood are part of the PSL. David Warner, Mitchell Owen, Riley Meredith, Ben McDermott, Max Bryant, Ashton Turner, Sean Abbott and Ben Dwarshuis are from Australia, while New Zealand's Finn Allen, Daryl Mitchlee, Michael Bracewell, Colin Munro, Mark Chapman, Tim Siefert, Kyle Jamieson and Kane Williamson are also in the League. After India launched precision strikes targeting nine high-value terror camps across Pakistan and Pakistan-occupied Kashmir (Pok), in response to the horrific terrorist attack in Pahalgam that claimed 26 lives, Pakistan attempted to engage a number of military targets in Northern and Western India on May 7-8. Two England Stars Express Wish To Leave PSL Amid India-Pakistan Conflict: Report

English players involved in the Pakistan Super League (PSL) want to leave the country following the precision strikes by India during Operation Sindoor in retaliation to the Pahalgam terror attack in Kashmir, which claimed 26 innocent lives. Hours after the midnight strike by Indian armed forces on terror infrastructures in the country, the Pakistan Cricket Board on Wednesday vowed to continue holding the remaining matches of the Pakistan Super League despite India's attack and further escalation in the hostilities between the two countries. But with fears that the conflict could escalate into war between the nations, the English players in PSL face a decision over whether to remain in the country. Seven England players -- Sam Billings, James Vince, Tom Curran, David Willey, Chris Jordan, Tom Kohler-Canmore and Luke Wood - are involved in PSL. According to the report carried by Willey and Jordan have communicated with their franchise Multan Sultans that they wish to leave for home since their team is already out of the playoffs and they have only one match remaining. Sources, quoted in the report, said England and Wales Cricket Board and Professional Cricketers Association have been in touch with the players and have still not directed them to leave, but can change that on a travel advisory by the UK government. In the early hours of May 7, India launched precision strikes targeting nine high-value terror camps across Pakistan and Pakistan-occupied Kashmir (PoK), in response to the horrific terrorist attack in Pahalgam that claimed 26 lives-25 Indians and one Nepali national. The air and missile strikes focused only on terror infrastructure linked with internationally designated groups such as Jaish-e-Mohammed and Lashkar-e-Taiba. Care was taken to avoid civilian casualties or damage to Pakistan's military assets, underlining India's commitment to strategic restraint even in retaliation. Listen to the latest songs, only on

Watch: Ubaid Shah Gets Too Wild Amidst Celebration, Strikes Down His Own Teammate During PSL Match

Last Updated: Ubaid Shah went a little too crazy with his celebration during the PSL 2025 match where he smacked his own teammate on the head. Celebrations went out of hand in the Pakistan Super League 2025 match between the Multan Sultans and the Lahore Qalandars on Wednesday, with Ubaid Shah taking the spotlight for the wrong reasons. The Multan Sultans pacer, Ubaid Shah, who is also the brother of the Pakistan international star, Naseem Shah, played the starring role with the ball as he finished as the pick of the bowlers, taking three wickets whilst conceding 37 runs in his four overs. He managed to get rid of the likes of Fakhar Zaman, Daryl Mitchell and Sam Billings. After getting Billings' wicket, Shah got a little too excited as he accidentally smacked his teammate and wicket-keeper, Usman Khan, amid celebrations. The keeper was down for a moment, and the blow he copped did not cost them much in the end. The celebration looked similar to the WWE superstar, Roman Reigns' signature move, the Superman Punch. Even the Multan team members were seen laughing at the hilarious turn of events while Ubaid was shocked by what went down as he eventually ended up apologising to his teammate. Their win was set up by Yasir Khan, who scored a blistering 87 in 44 balls laced with six boundaries and as many maximums, along with a quickfire 40 by Iftikhar Ahmed to power the Multan-based franchise to 228 runs in the first innings. For the Lahore Qalandars, it was Sikandar Raza who proved to be the shining light as the side struggled to find partnerships in the top order. Sam Billings was able to score 43 in 23 balls, but the Shaheen Afridi-led side ended up falling short in the end.
