Amy Hart forced to cancel her holiday just hours before flight as son, two, suffers illness

Amy Hart has been forced to cancel her holiday just hours before her flight after her son came down with an illness. The former Love Island star, 32, who shares two-year-old Stanley with her husband Sam Rason, shared an update to her Instagram on Friday. Amy revealed that they had just five hours to go before their flight when Stanley came out in chickenpox. Sharing a photo of him, with a rash on his forhead, Amy wrote: 'Holiday booked, bags packed, fridge cleared out and food given away. 'Holiday cancelled. Chicken Pox five hours before we fly. Holiday cancelled. 'Just grateful we didn't get to out destination and then it happen! Lots of snuggles and films for the foreseeable.' While chickenpox is mild for most, and usually gets better on its own after 1 to 2 weeks without needing to see a GP, it can be serious in some people. It is highly infections and mostly affects children. The NHS advises anyone with the infection not go near newborn babies or anyone who's pregnant or has a weakened immune system, as chickenpox can be particularly dangerous for them. Complications include neurological problems and pneumonia. Amy exchanged vows with partner Sam in Spain last summer, a year after announcing their engagement and 18-months after they welcomes their son Stanley together. Sam got down on one knee while she was taking part in a shoot aboard the Excellence-class cruise ship Arvia for her P&O cruises podcast. Amy was invited into the theatre to watch the rehearsals when Sam surprised her by appearing on stage and proposed. Amy recently revealed the truth about her interview with her ex Curtis Pritchard as they starred on Love Island's podcast and fans called for her to be sacked. The reality star fronted the podcast for the All Stars series in March, where Curtis formed a romance with Ekin-Su Culculoglu, and speaking afterwards hit back at trolls who claimed she shouldn't have spoken to her ex. Amy and Curtis formed a memorable romance on Love Island in 2019, but she quit the show when he confessed his head had been turned in Casa Amor. Speaking to The Sun, Amy shared that her reunion with Curtis was far from awkward, and he had proudly shared his support for her when she landed the podcast gig. She said: 'Everyone was obsessed from the start about how awkward it was going to be for me to talk about Curtis. 'Asking ''what happens if we come face to face'' and I had to interview him? But unfortunately for everyone, we get on quite well. 'He was my easiest interview because I know him so well, I know how hard I can push him, I know how hard I can wind him up. 'Everyone wants us to not like each other. The fact we do get on really well makes it so easy.' Amy also revealed that when she was preparing to film a TikTok Live at the All Stars final, Curtis gave her a hug and said she was 'going to smash it.'

Love Island's Amy Hart looks amazing in strapless swimsuit as she hits the beach on family holiday

LOVE Island star Amy Hart sizzled in a black bandeau swimsuit as she hit the beach in Mallorca. The ITV2 alum opted for the glam one-piece paired with huge sunglasses as she headed for a day on the Palma sands with husband Sam Rason and son Stanley, aged two. 7 7 7 Amy, 32, pulled her blonde hair into a stylish up-do and went make-up free for the family day, stopping to capture a few selfies along the way. The Love Island 2019 star then waded into the crystal-clear waters as she cooled off, taking a paddle as the waves lapped her thighs. She was then reunited as she arrived back on shore, with little Stanley playing in a multi-coloured beach suit. He was seen staying close to his parents as he carried a series of plastic toys, before Amy helped him out and carried his neon green bucket. The family are on a P&O Cruise around the Mediterranean, with Amy documenting the trip on Instagram. She recently uploaded a video showing the couple dressing up for a glam dinner on the ship. Amy uploaded a slide to her Stories to document the pair's day and told how after a few hours on the beach, Stanley had gone to a kids club. As he played, the couple enjoyed an Afternoon Tea in the adults-only area of the ship. MUM LIFE Amy previously opened up on how cruel online trolls accused her of "overfeeding" her baby - and said they "didn't recognise her." The TV star, who welcomed Stanley on March 3 2023 with husband-to-be Sam Rason - says she has found happiness as a mum by learning to drown out the noise and adopting a "healthy" life for her and her son. 'At the beginning, I got a lack of flack for allegedly over-feeding Stanley,' Amy says. 'People kept telling me I was feeding him too much because he's a huge baby. He's massive, but he's always been a big baby. 'He was eight pounds when he was born. He's in the 91st percentile, so he's taller and bigger than most babies his age. 'It did use to worry me, but eventually I decided that if he was telling me he was hungry, who was I to say no?'
