SP youth wing leader held for fake currency, real estate fraud
Ayodhya: The Ayodhya police on Tuesday arrested a
Samajwadi Party
youth wing leader, his wife, and brother, along with eight other persons, for dealing in counterfeit currency, soliciting investments in real estate through false promises, and issuing threats when a return of the money was demanded.
Raja Maan Singh, the national secretary of Samajwadi Yuvjan Sabha, is also a Samajwadi Party zila panchayat member from Ayodhya.
Ayodhya SSP Gaurav Grover confirmed the arrest and said that Rs 8 lakh were recovered from Singh's house.
Party's Ayodhya district president Parasnath Yadav confirmed to TOI that Raja Maan Singh is a member of the party.
