Nesma JV to deliver King Salman International Airport package
Nesma & Partners, the leading contractor in Saudi Arabia, has signed an agreement with Samsung C&T Corporation Saudi Arabia and Al Ayuni Limak Contracting to form a fully integrated, unincorporated joint venture aimed at delivering key project packages for the transformative King Salman International Airport in Riyadh. As one of the kingdom's most ambitious infrastructure projects, the airport will set new benchmarks in modern architecture, sustainability, and global connectivity, reinforcing Saudi Arabia's presence on the international stage. On the project, Nesma & Partners said bringing together industry-leading expertise, the joint venture will leverage its industry-leading expertise in construction and engineering, combining it with Samsung C&T's global experience in large-scale infrastructure and Al-Ayuni Limak's extensive track record in both Saudi Arabian and international markets, specifically airports industry. This strategic partnership underscores the commitment of all three companies to bring in their collective expertise and resources to deliver cutting-edge infrastructure solutions for this landmark project, it stated. The MoU was signed by Samer Abdul Samad, President & CEO of Nesma & Partners; Sang Yong Lee, Vice President, Head of Infrastructure Business Development Team at Samsung C&T Corporation Saudi Arabia; Fatih Yurthan Cevik, CEO of Al-Ayuni Limak Contracting Company; and Hamad Al-Ayuni, Deputy CEO of Al-Ayuni Limak Contracting Company. On the new deal, Samad said this partnership was an important milestone in its commitment to supporting the broader goals of Vision 2030. "By combining the expertise of Nesma & Partners with the strengths of Samsung C&T and Al Ayuni Limak, we are focused on delivering a ground-breaking project that will position Riyadh as a global aviation hub, driving economic growth, attracting business investments, and strengthening the tourism sector," he stated. "Our role in this initiative reflects our dedication to excellence and innovation, ensuring that the King Salman International Airport becomes a cornerstone of the Kingdom's ambitious future," he added. Nesma inks key infrastructure development contracts with Jasara
NesmaPartners has announced that it has signed a MoU with Jasara Program Management Company in a strategic move aimed at advancing Saudi Arabia's infrastructure sector and aligning with Vision 2030. Jasara - a joint venture between Aramco, the Saudi wealth fund PIF and construction major Jacobs - specializes in delivering high-impact infrastructure projects. This collaboration will leverage Nesma & Partners' extensive expertise in execution and Jasara's strength in project management to optimize the delivery of complex developments across the Kingdom. Additionally, the partnership will establish a framework for joint training initiatives, equipping local professionals with advanced skills to support the nation's long-term development goals. The agreement was signed by Samer Abdul Samad, President & CEO of Nesma & Partners, and Mohammed Almana, President & CEO of Jasara, held at the Private Sector Forum 2025 in Riyadh. Nesma & Partners holds SAR 40B portfolio: CEO
Nesma & Partners Contracting Co. currently manages a project portfolio worth up to SAR 40 billion, CEO Samer Abdul Samad said. The company collaborates with key entities such as NEOM, Diriyah and Qiddiya projects, Aramco, and King Salman Park, contributing to Vision 2030 goals. Speaking at the International Mining and Resources Conference (IMARC), Abdul Samad noted that Nesma & Partners has prior experience in mining, having worked with Saudi Arabian Mining Co. (Maaden) and Amak 10–15 years ago. The company joined last year's conference to understand new industry trends, leading to the inclusion of mining in its 2024 strategy. Nesma & Partners is now exploring entry into the mining sector through potential partnerships or acquisitions. Abdul Samad said the final decision will depend on available opportunities in the near future. He also highlighted recent contracts under Aramco's Master Gas System program in 2024. The company secured new projects with KAPSARC and Diriyah's Jabal Qurain district and aims to expand further through major upcoming projects.
