Samsung introduces Galaxy Book4 Edge powered by Snapdragon X at Rs 64,990
Samsung, on Thursday, July 31, introduced its AI-powered Galaxy Book4 Edge. The laptop is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon X processor and features Microsoft Copilot+. The device has been designed to function as an integral part of the Galaxy AI ecosystem, as it allows seamless continuity between smartphone and PC. The Galaxy Book4 Edge will be available on the official Samsung website, Flipkart, the Samsung Shop App, Samsung Experience Stores, and select retail outlets across the country. It is priced at Rs 64,990, with a Rs 5,000 cashback offer from major banks. This laptop sports a sleek 15-inch display with a 1080p HD camera and WiFi 7 connectivity. Samsung claimed that the Galaxy Book4 Edge is created with a variety of recycled materials, including plastics, glass, and aluminium. It is available in a new Arctic Blue colourway. The Galaxy Book4 Edge also gets features like Link to Windows, which helps users mirror the screens of their smartphones on the laptop, and other features like Multi Control and Second Screen, enabling users to enjoy seamless continuity between their smartphone and laptop to increase efficiency. The laptop also enhances real-time communication with popular Galaxy AI services like Chat Assist and Live Translate. The Galaxy Book4 Edge comes with a long-lasting battery and lightweight design while fusing hardware with AI-powered software capabilities. Other features include an antiglare display and up to 27-hour battery life. The Galaxy Book4 Edge gets a Qualcomm Snapdragon X CPU, which delivers 45 TOPS of NPU performance for lightning-fast on-device AI capabilities. Qualcomm's Adreno graphics are pre-installed. When used with Cocreator, users may quickly create AI-generated artwork using drawings and text instructions. With the help of on-device AI, Windows Studio Effects enables users to add filters, voice emphasis, eye contact correction, and backdrop blur to video chats, bringing studio-calibre collaboration to regular meetings. At the heart of the Galaxy Book4 Edge, the laptop offers security through Samsung Knox. The Knox provides multi-layer protection against attacks, ranging from real-time monitoring to hardware-level security. Additionally, it guarantees firmware protection and enhanced data integrity for corporate users as a Microsoft Secured-core laptop. The introductory price for the laptops is Rs 64,990; due to additional bank offers of Rs 5,000, the laptops can be priced at Rs 59,990.

South Korean technology giant Samsung kicked off the Samsung Days Sale on July 12, offering discounts on a range of gadgets, TVs, and appliances. The sale, running through July 18, will offer up to 41 per cent discount on its flagship smartphones, including the Galaxy S25 and S24 series, along with its select Galaxy A series smartphones. According to a Samsung press release, tablets, accessories, and wearables will be offered at up to 65 per cent discount on their maximum retail price. Samsung Galaxy S25+ powers Van Gogh Museum tours
Samsung Electronics announced Sunday a three-year partnership with the Van Gogh Museum in Amsterdam, combining mobile innovation with cultural enrichment. Launched on June 10, the museum renewed its audio tour using 1,600 Galaxy S25+ smartphones. Replacing previous hardware, the devices offer visitors a lighter, more user-friendly interface, with clearer voice audio and enhanced display quality for a more immersive storytelling experience. This partnership will also integrate Galaxy AI features into future tours to provide more personalized visitor experiences. To mark the collaboration, Samsung Electronics will release a series of Van Gogh Museum-branded smartphone cases inspired by iconic works such as Sunflowers and his self-portrait. These items will be available at Samsung Experience Stores, the Samsung Online Store in the Netherlands and at the Van Gogh Museum's retail locations. 'This partnership shows how technology can bring cultural experiences to life,' said Sean Yun, President and CEO of Samsung Electronics Benelux.
