Apple users rush to buy £60 iPad Air in 66% Wowcher deal

While new models of the iPad Air start at £599, this deal is perfect for shoppers who don't mind an older model. Apple has a wide range of gadgets that tech lovers strive to get their hands on. From smartphones to laptops to watches, there is an Apple product to meet a shopper's every need. However, many of the newer products come with a hefty price tag. For instance. the newer models of the iPad Air can set shoppers back by at least £599, with prices getting more expensive depending on storage and style. For those who are in the market for an iPad but don't want to break the bank on the latest edition, this Wowcher deal may be worth looking into. For only £59, shoppers can grab a refurbished version of the original iPad Air. While originally owned by someone else, experts have worked on the device to bring it back to its original condition, meaning the only difference shoppers will notice is some cosmetic wear. First released in 2013, this iPad Air comes with the A7 chip. Therefore, shoppers should be aware that they won't be experiencing the same lighting fast speeds that the newer tablets are capable of, but it will still work for video streaming, browsing the web and social media, reports Manchester Evening News. For those looking for a device that is larger than a smartphone, this iPad features a 9.7-inch screen. While big enough to watch your favourite shows in better quality, the tablet is also still small enough to easily be thrown into a bag for on the go use. Another difference from the newer models is the amount of storage available. With only 16GB of internal storage, users will only be able to fit a few important apps onto this device. iPad Air First Gen Product Description For those looking for something small but more up to date, Amazon has reduced the price of the Samsung Galaxy Tab A9 in a limited time deal. Normally £127.49, tech lovers can now grab this 64GB tablet for only £81.71. With a 8.7-inch display, this device is slightly smaller than the iPad in the Wowcher deal. Alternatively, for those who are wanting to stick with Apple and don't mind a slightly bigger device, Argos is claiming to have their 'lowest price ever' on the Apple iPad 2022. Retailing for £269, this tablet features a 10.9-inch display and is equipped with 64GB of storage. When released, the original iPad Air received raved reviews. However, there is now a lot of discourse online to find out if it is worth purchasing one in 2025. In a Reddit post about how someone still uses their first iPad Air, one commenter gave a positive response in the replies, writing: "I have a 1st gen, too, and now I let my three-year-old use it to watch videos. It still works great for that despite being over a decade old! "The longevity was one of the reasons why I upgraded to an Air 5 last year, despite not being a fan of Apple software." Another user added: "I love mine, still use mine every night for reading and drawing, i have the Apple smart case and everything works perfect." However, another replier did warn that some apps no longer work on the device due to the operating system no longer being supported: "The YouTube app stopped working, but the YouTube Web site works fine in the browser. Netflix still works." Tech deal of the week Looking to bag a pair of wireless headphones, but don't want to pay out for Apple's AirPods? Then look no further than Amazon, as the online giant has a selection of budget-friendly options that are said to deliver on quality. One such pair are the Donerton Wireless Earbuds. Priced at just £18.99, these earbuds use 2025 Bluetooth 5.4 to seamlessly connect to any device, while the 13mm speakers deliver "crystal clear" and "vivid" sound quality that is said to be on par with pricier brands. Using ENC noise cancellation technology and featuring four built-in microphones, they are ideal for taking phone calls when out and about, alongside listening to music, podcasts and audiobooks without interruption. The ergonomic design is suitable for everyone, with three silicone shaped tips available to provide a secure and long-lasting fit. As they are IP7 waterproof, they are prevented from any damage caused by sweat and raindrops. Meanwhile, the wireless charging case displays the remaining power of each earbud using dual LED technology and can provide up to 40-hours of playback, with a single fast 1.5-hour charge offering up to eight hours alone. Averaging a 4.4 rating on Amazon based on over 18,000 reviews, they have been compared to Apple and Samsung by tech fans who have praised them as "far superior" and "brilliant." One such review read: "These EarPods are brilliant ! The sound is great & everything you would expect from apple but so much cheaper. I've had apple EarPods from apple, these are on par. Highly recommended." Purchase the Donerton Wireless Earbuds on Amazon for £18.99 here. Similar comments were shared in the first Reddit post, as one person wrote: "Mine is slow and fails apps all the time. I stopped using it in recent years and am thinking about pulling the trigger on a new iPad this month. Glad it worked out for you." A further user went on to chime in: "This was my first ipad and i loved it when it was in ios 7-9. Still great tho!" For those you want to try out the first generation iPad Air, click HERE. Amazon slashes 52% off 'brilliant' Samsung Tablet now only £80 in limited time deal

'I didn't want to buy a laptop as they are too big but this is perfect for what I need.' With so many tablets on the market, it can be difficult to find the device that fits your needs. Many notable brands produce high quality devices, but they also come with a hefty price tag that many people cannot afford. Luckily for Android lovers, we have found an amazing Amazon deal on a popular tablet that won't break the bank. The Samsung Galaxy Tab A9 normally retails for £169, but the major online retailer has slashed a whopping 52 per cent off this device in a limited time deal. Now priced at only £81.71, the Samsung Tablet is now hundreds of pounds cheaper than Apple's most recent iPad - £313 on Amazon at the time of writing. So for shoppers who aren't fussed about staying loyal to certain brands, in terms of price Samsung is currently the better choice. The Galaxy Tab A9 features a 8.7-inch screen and has 64GB of storage. Along with both front and rear facing cameras, the tablet should provide a full day of use as it boasts a 5,100mAh battery, reports the Express. The device is also 8mm thick, so it shouldn't easily disappear when placed in a bag. However, as this is a budget tablet, users won't be receiving all of the top tier specs. Despite not having a high refresh rate, the 60Hz LCD display is more than suitable for people who are mainly using the device to watch films, browse the web, catch up on emails or read an e-book. As an Android device, the Galaxy Tab A9 also gives users access to the Google Play store. Whether you want to read, listen to music, play a game or video call your friends and family, this small tablet has access to all your must-have apps at a decent price. Samsung Galaxy Tab A9 Product Description On the flip side, it should be noted that the A9 is equipped with an underpowered processor, so if shoppers are wanting a device that can quickly multitask and switch between apps, then a higher end tablet may be a more suitable purchase. For Apple lovers who are happy to buy a slighter older model of the iPad, Apple is currently selling the 10.9-inch iPad (10th Generation) for the slightly reduced price of £269 (RRP £279). With 64GB of storage, this device also comes with a liquid Retina display with True Tone and a 12MP wide back camera. Alternatively, a more budget-friendly device is the Lenovo M9 9-inch 64GB Wi-Fi Tablet. Selling on Argos for £79.99, this tablet currently has a 4.7 star rating from shoppers and offers up to 13 hours of video playback from a single charge. Many Amazon shoppers are snapping up this limited time deal on the Galaxy Tab A9, with over 500 people purchasing the device in the last 30 days. Boasting a 4.5 star rating, shoppers have praised the device for being "easy to use" and having a "good battery life". One happy shopper wrote: "Great product, sturdy and lightweight. Loads quickly and easy to use and the battery is good too. Screen quality is great. Bought for my mum and she loves it." Another customer added: "This is brilliant. Turned up very well packaged with no damage at all. I didn't want to buy a laptop as they are too big but this is perfect for what I need." However, another shopper wasn't as impressed, writing: "It's OK, bit of a pain size-wise as is (obviously) between the size of a smartphone & size of a lappie (laptop). Just odd to try & hold with the cover on. OK , works fine & pretty fast." A further reviewer also groaned: "The display is good but the tablet needs recharging nearly every day. With little use the tablet battery reduces to 50 percent. I read reviews which said similar so I've only got myself to blame but Samsung should have done so much better." Despite this, a five-star reviewer was pleased they made the switch to the A9 tablet. They wrote: "I was a bit sceptical as there are so many tablets on the market, I just wanted a simple one so I could browse the internet rather than using my mobile (which drains the battery quickly). "I found this so easy to set up and use (I am in my mid 50s so not really into tech), there are no apps which stop you using other apps (I did have an Amazon tablet once and I found I couldn't download certain things or it all had to be through Amazon so I stopped using it). But this one is a lovely device so I would definitely recommend." Another high praising customer said: "Samsung Galaxy Tab A9, works great. I got this as a replacement to my Galaxy Tab A7, which got a damaged screen. It as good battery life and nice sharp screen image, it's light weight. great storage, (I put in a 512GB micro SD card)." Shoppers rush to save £60 on Kindle Fire Tablet in high demand deal

This budget tablet is great for people who want to scroll through social media on a bigger screen or watch TV. When the majority of us hear the word Kindle we make an automatic association with reading. While this is the primary use for the usual devices, Amazon at one point also created a variation of of the device under the same name. However, these Kindle Tablets are more targeted to people who are looking for budget Apple and Samsung gadgets. Featuring a full colour touchscreen display, these tablets allow you to read while also keeping up-to-date on social media and TV. While brand new models of the tablet are normally priced around £99.99 for the cheapest model, Wowcher has recently cut the price of one version down to as low as £29.99 - saving tech lovers £60 on their purchase. However, this comes with the caveat that the Amazon Kindle Tablet being sold on Wowcher is the first generation of the device, which was released way back in 2011. Therefore, shoppers won't experience the same level of performance that is provided by the newer models, reports Manchester Evening News. The Kindle comes with half a gigabyte of RAM and a dual-core CPU, so shoppers shouldn't expect the device to seamlessly switch between tasks. Additionally, there is only 8GB of storage available, but if users are only using the device for social media and browsing the web, this probably isn't that big of an issue. Featuring a 7-inch screen, this compact device is perfect to take with users while on the go. However, this model is Wi-Fi only, so users won't be able to use cellular connection to help access the internet. Kindle Fire Tablet Product Description While this model may be old by today's standards, the devices have been restored to a high standard by the seller. As a refurbished item, the Kindle Tablets will have been previously owned by others. However, the only difference in the device shoppers may see is some cosmetic wear, apart from that the device should work like it did back in 2011. For shoppers looking for more up-to-date tablets, Amazon has slashed the price of the Samsung Galaxy Tab A9. Normally retailing for £169, tech lovers can now get the device for only £81.71. With 64GB of storage and a 8.7-inch screen, this tablet is sure to make multi-tasking a breeze. Another budget tablet on the market is the Lenovo Tab 10.1in 64GB Wi-Fi Tablet. Normally retailing for £149.99, Argos has cut the price down to £119.99 - saving shoppers £30. With a 10.1-inch screen, shoppers can enjoy up to 9.5 hours of their favourite shows on a single charge. For those interested in the Kindle Fire Tablet, people who owned the device at the time seemed to really enjoy it. With a 4.5 star rating, the small device received an array of glowing reviews. One shopper said: "My recommendations for people buying a Kindle Fire: If you are looking for an e-reader with additional functions, if you want to read magazines on your e-reader, if you want to watch the occasional movie and play a game here and there, then the Fire is right for you." Another added: "I got my Kindle Fire right when they were first released in 2011 - five years later I still use it every day, more than my iPad Mini." However, not everyone was as pleased, as one shopper grumbled: "It was heavy and the resolution was not great. I liked the iPad mini or Samsung tablet much better as they can be used for reading as well as web-browsing." Another also quipped: "I like this for reading books but it is horrible for Internet usage. There is a delay when you type and many pages don't load correctly. I got an iPad 8 months after I bought my Kindle and now I wish I had never bought the Kindle." However, not everyone had the same experience, as another happy customer wrote: "I bought this for my 9 year old daughter. It is amazing. She loves reading books and playing games. It isn't as expensive as an iPad but it has pretty much all the great features an iPad has." For those wanting to snap up an Amazon Kindle Fire Tablet for only £29.99, click HERE.
