Bianca Umali shares 7th anniversary love letter for Ruru Madrid
Bianca Umali marked the seven years she's been with Ruru Madrid with a love letter. On Instagram, she shared a close-up photo of herself and the Kapuso Prime Action Hero sharing a sweet kiss, and said "Pitong taon na… pero hanggang ngayon, hindi ko pa rin maipaliwanag kung paano mo nagawang baguhin ang mundo ko nang ganito." (It's been seven years but until now, I can't explain how you were able to change my world the way you did.) "Hindi ko alam kung anong hiwaga ang meron ka, pero sa'yo ko natagpuan ang kapayapaan sa gitna ng gulo, at ang saya sa gitna ng lungkot," she added. Kelvin Miranda joins 'Unang Hirit' as host-mate for the week
Kelvin Miranda is the newest host-mate of "Unang Hirit" from July 21 to July 25. On Monday's episode of the Kapuso morning show, Kelvin talked about his experience at the recently concluded "Sang'gre" fan event held in Quezon City. "Nakakatuwa s'yempre kasi nararamdaman [ko] 'yung init nang pagtanggap," he said. "Ako naman lagi akong grateful and thankful sa mga sumusuporta kaya lubos at labis akong nagpapasalamat sa inyo," he added. In "Sang'gre," Kelvin stars as Adamus, the keeper of Brilyante ng Tubig. Iza Calzado reflects on iconic ‘Encantadia' role
Actress Iza Calzado had a heartfelt throwback moment during her recent visit to GMA Network's headquarters in Quezon City, where she came face-to-face with her original Encantadia costume. Calzado was at the network for a brand-related event when she noticed the costume display from the 2005 fantasy series. She played Amihan, one of the original Sang'gres in the iconic show. 'Still a Sang'gre at heart,' she wrote in her Instagram caption, adding: 'I was so happy our interview set-up was right next to our Encantadia costumes. Forever grateful to breathe life to Amihan for the OG version.' Iza shared the spotlight in the original series with Diana Zubiri, Karylle, and Sunshine Dizon. The four portrayed the elemental warrior sisters and have remained close over the years. Calzado also named her daughter Deia Amihan. The franchise continues through the new spin-off series Sang'gre, led by Bianca Umali, Kelvin Miranda, Faith Da Silva, and Angel Guardian.
