'Legacy Be Damned' as Cowboys' Dak Focuses On Super Bowl 'Sanity'
'Legacy Be Damned' as Cowboys' Dak Focuses On Super Bowl 'Sanity' originally appeared on Athlon Sports. As odd as it may seem, the 2025 season will be Dak Prescott's 10th in the NFL with the Dallas Cowboys, and he has yet to reach the pinnacle of the sport. Advertisement But you can bet your house he thinks about it all the time. With Prescott approaching his 32nd birthday in the coming months, it is only natural for him to possibly think about the legacy he will leave when his time playing comes to an end. Yes, we are getting ahead of ourselves here, with Dak likely thinking he has plenty of career ahead of him. However, he has made it clear that he couldn't care less about his legacy - he wants a championship. "I want to win a championship," Prescott said. "The legacy, whatever comes after I finish playing, will take care of itself. I want to win a championship, be damned if it's just for my legacy, for this team, for my personal being, for my sanity. Advertisement "The legacy will take care of itself, I have to stay where my feet are." Dallas Cowboys quarterback Dak Prescott (4) runs the ball against the Atlanta Falcons in the second quarter at Mercedes-Benz Davis-Imagn Images Right now, one can say that Dak's legacy is a good regular season quarterback, but once the postseason rolls around, his 2-5 record sticks out. Entering Year 10, time is of the essence for Dak to get that elusive Super Bowl, and if he does manage to do that as a member of the Dallas Cowboys, his legacy will be set in stone as a franchise great. Being "the" guy to end a drought that has lasted nearly three decades, that, my friends, will be Dak's legacy. He was the one to end it. He's done nearly everything else. Will likely hold the franchise records for wins (18 behind Troy Aikman), passing yards (2,746 behind Tony Romo), and passing touchdowns (35 behind Romo) in the next two or so seasons. Advertisement What would be the only thing missing to complete his Cowboys legacy? A championship. 'People estimate 100 or more': Speculation grows over Elon Musk's real number of children
Billionaire Elon Musk is known to have at least 14 children, but the actual number could be significantly higher, according to journalist Elizabeth Bruenig. Speaking on the 'Sanity' podcast with hosts Alisyn Camerota and Dave Briggs, Bruenig shared new insights into Musk's secretive personal life. 'I believe he has 14 known children, but people who spoke to the Wall Street Journal for their exposé on his childbearing habits suggested the number is much higher,' Bruenig said during the interview released Friday. 'I have heard people estimate [it] at 100 or more.' Bruenig is the author of "The Harem of Elon Musk," a recent investigative piece on the topic. Also read: Elon Musk's tangled family tree: 12 kids, 3 women, and new drama brewing with Ashley St Clair She further noted, 'That would surprise me, but it's definitely higher than 14. And so far, I think there are four women he's had children with. Let's see. Possibly five with the addition of Ashley St. Clair, but I think it's four.' Camerota highlighted why much of this information remains hidden from the public. 'The reason we don't know about all these other children and women is because he makes his baby mamas sign NDAs and he's very lawyered up and he's litigious and he does suit them if they speak,' she said. Camerota also pointed out that Musk reportedly offers substantial financial compensation to ensure their silence. Bruenig added that conservative influencer Ashley St. Clair allegedly received $15 million and a $100,000-a-month living stipend to keep the news of their child private. Also read: Ashley St. Clair files paternity suit against Elon Musk, seeks sole custody of 5-month-old son: Report Later in the conversation, Camerota questioned how Musk's behavior fits with the "family values" often championed by Republicans. 'It's also weird, Elizabeth, and obviously it's ripe for comedy, but there's something very dystopian, I find, about this and dark and, I mean and hypocritical, wildly hypocritically, because let's remember that it's Republicans who have always championed family values,' she said. 'How is this family values? He doesn't acknowledge some of his children. And he refuses to be on the birth certificate. Of some of his children. He pays off the women. He attacks them in court. He, as you know, he's estranged from one of his, children, Vivian. I mean, this flies in the face of anything that any sane person sees as family values.' Bruenig suggested that Musk's approach to fatherhood stems from a different ideology rather than traditional family ideals. 'Elon Musk has tweeted many times and spoken many times about his notion that birth rate declines mean the future of human civilisation is in danger,' she said, adding that Musk 'really wants smart people to be having children.' Musk's known children include the late Nevada, twins Vivian and Griffin, and triplets Kai, Saxon, and Damian, whom he had with ex-wife Justine Wilson. After divorcing Wilson in 2008, Musk married and divorced actress Talulah Riley twice. He later had three children with musician Grimes — X Æ A-12, Exa Dark Sideræl, and Techno Mechanicus. Additionally, Musk shares four children, twins Strider and Azure, daughter Arcadia, and son Seldon Lycurgus — with Neuralink executive Shivon Zilis. In February 2025, Ashley St. Clair revealed that she and Musk welcomed a son named Romulus. St. Clair also claimed that Musk has had very little involvement in raising their child. Atlantic writer claims Elon Musk has fathered more than 100 children with a baby-mama 'harem'
A journalist for The Atlantic has claimed that Elon Musk could have fathered in excess of 100 children as part of his 'harem'. Speaking on the 'Sanity' podcast that went live on Friday, the outlet's Elizabeth Bruenig made the claim about the Tesla CEO and X boss. She said: 'I believe he has 14 known children, but people who spoke to the Wall Street Journal for their exposé on his childbearing habits suggested the number is much higher. I have heard people estimate [it] at 100 or more.' Bruenig, who authored a piece titled 'The Harem of Elon Musk', contended that such a number would 'surprise her', saying: 'It's definitely higher than 14. 'And so far, I think there are four women he's had children with. Let's see. Possibly five with the addition of Ashley St. Clair, but I think it's four.' Podcast co-host Alisyn Camerota also claimed that the women Musk has had children with have signed non-disclosure agreements. She said: 'The reason we don't know about all these other children and women is because he makes his baby mamas sign NDAs and he's very lawyered up and he's litigious and he does suit them if they speak.' MAGA influencer St. Clair claimed earlier this month that Musk had offered her $15 million and $100,000 a month to not publicly disclose he was the father of their son Romulus. She said that Musk's fixer Jared Birchall told her that similar agreements had been made with the other moms of his kids, including pop star Grimes and Neuralink executive Shivon Zilis. St. Clair also said that Musk had demanded that she deliver the baby via a caesarian section - he believes doing so allows for a baby to have a larger brain - and not undergo a circumcision. St. Clair is Jewish and wanted a natural birth so she rejected both. St. Clair did comply, however, with the request of leaving Musk's name off of Romulus' birth certificate - which Birchall made while she was inducing labor - but she did prepare by hiring an attorney, against Birchall's wishes. Camerota later questioned how the family values of the Republican Party crossover with Musk's habits. She added: 'There's something very dystopian about this and dark and, I mean and hypocritical, wildly hypocritically, because let's remember that it's Republicans who have always championed family values. 'How is this family values? He doesn't acknowledge some of his children. And he refuses to be on the birth certificate. Of some of his children. He pays off the women. 'He attacks them in court. He, as you know, he's estranged from one of his, children, Vivian. I mean, this flies in the face of anything that any sane person sees as family values.' The report by the Wall Street Journal alleged that Musk is building a massive brood ahead of a prospective population collapse. The billionaire went on to publicly belittle the outlet after they published their extensive report, touting them as worse than TMZ. Publicly, Musk is known to have children with four women - six with his ex wife, Justine; three with singer Grimes; four with a former employee Shivon Zilis; and one with St. Clair. Speaking at a Wall Street Journal event back in 2021, Musk said low and rapidly declining birth rates were 'one of the biggest risks to civilization,' and claimed that 'there are not enough people' in the world. When asked if that was why he had so many children, the businessman said he was trying to set a good example, and said that he has to practice what he preached. At that point he was already a father to 11 kids, but sadly his first child Nevada - whom he had with his first wife Justine Wilson - died of sudden infant death syndrome in 2002 at the age of 10 weeks. Publicly, Musk is known to have children with four women - six with ex wife, Justine; three with singer Grimes; four with a former employee Shivon Zilis; and one with St. Clair. Following the tragic death of his son Nevada, Musk went on to have five more children with Canadian author Wilson, 52. Musk and Wilson had married in January 2000 and decided to use IVF to continue their family. In 2004, they welcomed twins Griffin and Vivian, who is transgender and has a contentious relationship with her father. Musk also shares triplets named Kai, Saxon and Damian with Wilson, who were born in 2006. The couple divorced two years later in 2008, and in a 2010 essay she wrote for Marie Clare, Wilson said she felt more like an 'employee' to Musk than a partner. In 2018, it was revealed that Musk was dating Canadian singer/songwriter Grimes - whose real name is Claire Elise Boucher. The couple welcomed their first child, X, in May 2020 and originally gave their son the name X Æ A-12, which would have violated California regulations as it contained characters that are not in the modern English alphabet. They then changed the child's name to X Æ A-Xii and received plenty of criticism for choosing a name perceived to be impractical and difficult to pronounce. The following year they welcomed their daughter Exa Dark Sideræl via surrogacy. In between then and welcoming their son Tao in 2023, the couple 'semi-separated' and in January 2022, Grimes said of Musk: 'I would probably refer to him as my boyfriend, but we're very fluid.' Musk has a further three children with one of his Neuralink employees Shivon Zilis. Shortly before Grimes welcomed their daughter Exa, Zilis, 39, gave birth to a set of twins named Strider and Azure in June 2021. Zilis, who was born in Ontario, Canada, met Musk through OpenAI, the artificial-intelligence research-and-deployment nonprofit Musk cofounded in 2015, Insider reported.
