In a recent interview, producer TG Vishwa Prasad revealed that the team is now eyeing a Sankranthi 2026 release, specifically January 9, 2026. Initially announced for December 5, 2025, the film's release seems to be getting pushed again—this time to tap into the massive festive box office potential. According to the producer as revealed in the interview with Great Andhra website, this change comes after discussions with business stakeholders who believe the Sankranthi season could offer better returns.
