It is reported that Ashutosh was driving the car. It is suspected that the accident occurred because the person who was at the wheel apparently dozed off. Upon receiving information from passersby, Khanna police and the Expressway staff arrived and cut part of the car to remove the bodies.
The deceased were unmarried. Meanwhile, the truck driver fled the scene.
Khanna station officer Birendra Pratap Singh stated that the accident happened because the driver had fallen asleep. "An investigation is underway, and further action is being taken."
