LoP Gandhi talks like spokesperson of Pakistan, China: MP Minister Sarang
New Delhi: Madhya Pradesh Minister Vishvas Sarang launched a scathing attack on Congress leader Rahul Gandhi over his remarks that Prime Minister Narendra Modi had 'surrendered' to US President Donald Trump during 'Operation Sindoor', and alleged that the Leader of the Opposition (LoP) in the Lok Sabha, talks like the spokesperson of Pakistan and China. Speaking to IANS, Sarang claimed, 'Rahul Gandhi speaks like the spokesperson of Pakistan and China every time he opens his mouth. Recently he came to Bhopal not to promote the agenda of the Congress Party, but to push Pakistan's narrative.' LoP Gandhi made the controversial comment during a rally in Bhopal on Tuesday, alleging that PM Modi had 'immediately surrendered' after a call from US President Donald Trump during the India-Pakistan ceasefire agreement announced on May 10. 'Trump gave a signal from the US, picked up the phone and said, 'Narendra, surrender', and Narendra Modi ji obeyed Trump's directions,' the LoP said in his speech. Accusing the MP of insulting the armed forces and undermining India's elected leadership, Sarang asserted, 'Rahul Gandhi wants to insult our soldiers and the Indian military. Prime Minister Modi is a democratically-elected leader of this country." "Making such baseless and derogatory statements against him amounts to sedition,' he professed. 'In 'Operation Sindoor', our armed forces did a commendable job. They showcased immense courage, power, and valour. The entire world is applauding our military's bravery. At such a crucial moment, Rahul Gandhi is making statements that serve only to demoralise our forces,' Sarang added. 'He should apologise and think twice before speaking anything that can damage the morale of our soldiers,' the BJP leader demanded.

7-year-old Bhopal girl with critical liver problem airlifted to Delhi via PM Shri Air Ambulance Service
ANI 24 May 2025, 17:45 GMT+10 Bhopal (Madhya Pradesh) [India], May 24 (ANI): A seven-year-old girl from Bhopal suffering from a severe liver infection was airlifted to Delhi under the PM Shri Ambulance Service, Madhya Pradesh Cabinet Minister Vishvas Sarang said on Saturday. Minister Sarang stated that ensuring timely and quality healthcare for every citizen remains a top priority for both the state and central governments. It was in this spirit that arrangements were made to transfer the minor girl to the national capital for specialised treatment. The minor is a resident of Bhopal, and her family reached the minister's residence on Friday seeking help for her treatment. The Minister immediately made arrangements at AIIMS hospital in the state capital, but during the preliminary examination, her condition was found quite serious, and doctors recommended that she be shifted to Delhi. Speaking to reporters, Sarang said, 'It is the priority of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Chief Minister Mohan Yadav that every citizen should get timely treatment. That is why, be it the Ayushman Bharat scheme or the PM Sri Air Ambulance service, it is being duly implemented in Madhya Pradesh. Yesterday, a family visited me whose 7-year-old girl was suffering from a serious liver problem. She was having a serious infection in the liver. When we consulted doctors in Bhopal, they recommended sending her to Delhi immediately.' 'Following which, we airlifted her via PM Shri Air Ambulance Service to Delhi. Her health condition is critical and she is undergoing treatment under the Ayushman Bharat Scheme coverage and might need a liver transplant. We are continuously in touch with her parents and doctors. Our priority is to provide proper and timely treatment to all. We are trying our best to ensure the girl gets well soon and returns to Bhopal as soon as possible,' he added. (ANI)

Marathi movie director Ubale hangs self in Nagpur
Nagpur: The body of Ashish Ubale (58), a veteran Marathi film and television director, was found hanging from the ceiling of a room in a prominent mutt in Dhantoli area on Saturday. Ubale arrived in Nagpur on Friday, reportedly to meet his cousin brother Sarang Ubale, who serves as a 'sevak' at the mutt. According to sources, Ubale had expressed a desire to meet the head guru of mutt. However, the guru was out of town, and Ubale decided to stay overnight in a guest room at the mutt. He took the extreme step of hanging himself the following afternoon. When Ubale's family members, who live in Pune, were unable to contact him on Saturday, they informed Sarang. Upon going to the room, Sarang found the door locked from the inside. After repeated knocking and no response, he forced the door open, only to find Ashish hanging from the ceiling fan with a bedsheet. Dhantoli police inspector Anamika Mirzapure said that the body has been sent for postmortem. "The incident happened around 4:30 p.m. A suicide note was found in his WhatsApp drafts, where he wrote to himself. The gist of the message stated he was under immense pressure due to financial burdens and could not continue living," Mirzapure said. His later works included Gargi, Anandache Dohi, and the comedy film Baburao La Pakda. Despite reportedly appearing cheerful during a visit to the mutt three months ago, close acquaintances now recall subtle signs of strain. Sources said that Ubale battled financial issues for some time.
