Mahesh Babu turns 50: Chiranjeevi, Jr NTR, Adivi Sesh share heartfelt birthday wishes for the superstar

Celebrating his birthday today, Megastar Chiranjeevi, Jr NTR, Adivi Sesh and others extended their greetings to the 'SSMB' actor with a post filled with affection and respect. Taking to X (formerly Twitter), Chiranjeevi called Mahesh Babu the "Pride of Telugu cinema", writing, "Happy Happy 50th, my dear SSMB. You are the pride of Telugu Cinema, destined to conquer the beyond! You seem to grow younger with every passing year! Wishing you a wonderful year ahead and many, many happy returns!" Wishing love and success On X, Jr NTR wrote, "Happy Birthday @urstrulymahesh Anna. Wishing you all the love and success…" The 'HIT 2' actor wrote, "Dear @urstrulyMahesh sir, Happy Golden Birthday. I will forever be filled with gratitude for everything you've done for me. The world and I love you for your wit, your charm and most importantly…your heart. You'll always have me in your corner. Happy Birthday Sir." Mahesh's brother-in-law and actor Sudheer Babu also penned an emotional note. He wrote, "My dearest brother-in-law, thank you for making great films, carrying forward your father's legacy with pride, being a strong pillar of our family, and inspiring me to push harder. Director Anil Ravipudi who worked with Mahesh Babu in 'Sarileru Neekevvaru', wrote, "Happy Birthday to my dearest Superstar @UrstrulyMahesh garu You've shown us that the real magic lies in kindness, discipline, and staying grounded no matter how high you fly, You're truly one in a million sir Can't wait to see you conquer the globe". Mahesh Babu's next big adventure On the work front, he is gearing up for his most ambitious project, a jungle adventure tentatively titled 'SSMB29', directed by SS Rajamouli. The movie also stars Priyanka Chopra and Prithviraj Sukumaran in the leading roles.

Actor Mahesh Babu and former actor-model Namrata Shirodkar's daughter Sitara Ghattamaneni turned 13 on 20 July. The whole family flew to Sri Lanka on her birthday with their friends to celebrate the milestone. Namrata and Sitara posted pictures of everything they were up to during the birthday vacation. Fans were thrilled to see Namrata post a picture of Mahesh, leaving heart eye and heart emojis under her post, leaving comments like, 'Babu in last pic (fire emoji),' and 'Spotted Mufasa (lion emoji).' Mahesh, Sitara, Gautam and Namrata were spotted flying out of Hyderabad on 20 July by the paparazzi at the airport. A paparazzo even caught a sweet moment of Mahesh planting a kiss on Sitara's cheek before they walked in. Recent work Mahesh was last seen in Anil Ravipudi's 2020 film Sarileru Neekevvaru, Parasuram's Sarkaaru Vaari Paata in 2022, and Trivikram Srinivas' Guntur Kaaram in 2024. He also dubbed for Mufasa in the Telugu version of Disney's 2024 film Mufasa: The Lion King. Fans are now thrilled to see him soon in SS Rajamouli's yet-to-be-titled SSMB 29 with Priyanka Chopra and Prithviraj Sukumaran. Sitara has also made her debut as a model with the jewellery brand PMJ Jewellers and featured in an ad with her father for Reliance Trends.

There's a scene from Mahesh Babu's Sarileru Neekevvaru in which he is able to stop a crime by arriving just at the nick of time, and catching hold of a huge axe flying from one end to another. Newton's laws defied Allu Arjun escapes unhurt even as a hot cup of tea is hurled at him. How did he know that the cup was aimed at him? Telugu superstar Mahesh Babu has been making headlines with every public appearance. Recently, a few pictures of him flaunting his curly long hair look for his upcoming film, 'SSMB 29', are doing the rounds on social media. In the photos, he is seen engrossed in a deep conversation with his wife, Namrata Shirodkar, and a the photos emerged, Mahesh Babu's fans called him 'sher' and 'Hollywood hero' as they shared them on their social media pages.
