General Hospital Recap: Jason Thinks He Sees Britt originally appeared on Daytime Confidential. On today's General Hospital recap: Robert is thrilled to have Sasha and the baby with him. Robert thanks Jason for stepping up for Robin years ago and Sasha now. Jason mentions Michael's love for Daisy and that he knows Robert will protect her. Sasha tells Jason she's not afraid anymore, because she did the right thing coming to stay with her parents. Jason tells her that she always has a home to come back to, and they say their goodbyes Willow interrupts Liesl and Nina's reunion. Liesl is less than amused by Willow's latest divorce and mess. She wants to know how Willow managed to lose custody of her children and Willow blames Michael. Willow says Drew is her hero and they fell in love and Michael is punishing her for it. Liesl chastises her for moving in with Drew while Michael was in the hospital, but Willow says they were blending their families. Willow says Michael cheated first but it's unfair she was seen as unfit. She says it's not fair he has three kids, and she has none. Nina tells Willow that Sasha and Daisy are leaving town for good. Willow claims to be surprised so Nina mentions the threats against says Sasha is protecting her child and isn't returning anytime soon. Both notice Willow's reaction and when she leaves, Liesl questions Nina. Liesl goes off on a tangent about Willow's new personality and Nina points the finger at Drew. Liesl says Drew needs to be dealt with. Nina says she's tried to make Willow see reason but doesn't know what to do. Liesl says they need to find leverage on Drew. Previous General Hospital (GH) Recap: Liesl Returns to Bond With Rocco About Britt Portia tells Curtis they need to end this, so Drew doesn't have anything to hold over her anymore. She says she's going to the medical board, but Curtis worries she'll lose her license and face criminal charges. He wants to know what Drew is asking her to do now. Portia tells him Drew wants her to alter Michael's medical records. She says she's done doing Drew's bidding and won't break her oath not to hurt a patient. Curtis says Trina will blame herself if Portia loses her license. Portia says Trina will see she's standing up and Drew doesn't get to win. Curtis says they need to be strategic but she doesn't have a choice Anna summons Carly to ask her about Josslyn's new boyfriend Vaughn. Carly says they broke up on the fourth of July and hasn't discussed it with her daughter. She wonders why Anna's interested and she brings up Emma. Anna tells Carly about the night Josslyn staked her claim on Vaughn. She thinks Emma was more interested in taking him away from Josslyn rather than Vaughn himself. Carly says Vaughn is the first guy Josslyn has been interested in since Dex died. Anna mentions how fixated Josslyn was to prove Cyrus was responsible for Dexter death, which is news to Carly. Carly mentions Josslyn's sudden trip to Easter Island which perks up Anna's spidey sense. Carly says when Josslyn came back she threw herself into the research position with Dalton. Carly questions Anna again but she claims not to know anything about Vaughn. Carly says she's ok with Josslyn living her life instead of being mired in grief. Josslyn and Vaughn are at the airport ready to intercept Dalton's go-between. When the woman shows up, Vaughn distracts her so Josslyn can put a tracker in the backpack. Dante is also at the airport searching for security footage when he spots Josslyn and Vaughn and watches them. Dante updates Anna and says Vaughn had a partner, and she guesses it was Josslyn. 'General Hospital' says goodbye to Sasha actress Sofia Mattsson: 'You'll always have a home to come back to'
General Hospital is bidding adieu to Sasha Gilmore. After seven years on the ABC soap, Sofia Mattson departed GH in Friday's episode of the show. The ep saw Sasha reunite with her dad, Robert Scorpio (Tristan Rogers) for the second time this week, following Rogers' real-life announcement that he has been diagnosed with cancer. Sasha ultimately decided to leave Port Charles to spend time with her parents and her newborn daughter, Daisy, who was being threatened back home. Jason (Steve Burton), who escorted Sasha out of Port Charles, wished her goodbye — in such a way that leaves the door open for her return. "You'll always have a home to come back to," he said. A representative for the show explained the actress' exit to TV Insider on Friday — and noted that Mattsson's departure may not be permanent. "There was a good time in the storyline for Sofia to leave to pursue other opportunities in film and TV," they shared. "But she is open for a return in the future." Mattson described her final day on set in an interview with TV Insider. "It was emotional for sure," she said. "Cleaning out my room and knowing that I wouldn't see all my friends there like usual every other day felt sad. But everyone was so supportive and excited for me." The actress said departing the show feels "bittersweet," and she looks forward to the new opportunities ahead. "I've had such a great time, but I'm also excited for a new chapter and to continue my acting journey in new projects," she said. Mattson also said she'd consider returning to soap acting if the right opportunity arose. "I'd have to see what the role was, but I'm definitely not opposed to coming back to the soap world," she said. "I think being on a soap is one of the best jobs you can have as an actress."Mattson first joined GH in September 2018, and went on to appear in over 500 episodes of the show. Her sister, actress Helena Mattsson, stepped in to play Sasha in her absence for two episodes in February 2022. Outside of General Hospital, Mattson has appeared in episodes of NCIS, Two and a Half Men, and StartUp. She has also appeared in movies like Becoming Bond, Jurassic City, and Adrenochrome.
