Our favorite product releases this week: Calpak, Rad Power Bikes, Satechi and more
There are a ton of great products that drop every week — and we're here, as always, to keep you up to date on the best of them. Each week, we'll be rounding up a short list of our favorite product drops from the last seven days for you to shop as you sip your morning coffee or take a quick break from work (trust, it's the only list you need for staying up to date on these things).
This week brings the launch of a new miniature Calpak duffel bag, a refreshed lineup of Rad Power cargo e-bikes and the long-awaited debut of the latest portable Satechi MagSafe chargers.
Qi2 tech wrapped in eco-friendly vegan leather
Satechi first revealed a new lineup of chargers back at CES 2025. This week, they're finally beginning to ship. Two versions of the OntheGo series are now available, with a 2-in-1 charger made for iPhone and Apple Watch being joined by a model that can also power up AirPods at the same time.
Our senior deals editor, Rikka Altland, got her hands on the new OntheGo 3-in-1 Charger and has been using it for the past few days. Based on a few nights of use, it certainly seems to meet the Qi2 spec for fast charging times. She also loves the feel of the vegan leather that wraps up all the charging prowess.
The best part about this week's Satechi launches are the introductory price drops. Amazon is celebrating the debut by discounting both of the chargers: The base OntheGo charger drops to $72 from its usual $80 price tag and the more capable 3-in-1 version hits $90 following a discount from its typical $100 MSRP.
The viral brush gets a new rendition
Tangle Teezer, the hairbrush brand used by celebrity hairstylists, just introduced a newcomer for delicately working out knots without sacrificing hairstyles. Many of us at CNN Underscored rep the brand, noting that it speeds up detangling and flexes seamlessly over tangles. We could even blindly pick the distinct Tangle Teezer brush out of a lineup of other hair brushes. Now, there's a new version hitting the market.
The new Extra Gentle option caters to fragile, breakage-prone hair. Outside its concentrated center of teeth for detangling, the latest brush is designed with widely spaced teeth to cause less breakage in fine, damaged hair types. Good news for Tangle Teezer fans, it lingers at the same price as its predecessors at $16.
The brand just downsized its bestselling bag
It's no surprise that CNN Underscored editors adore Calpak's Luka Collection. The bags are roomy, lightweight and have a scratch-resistant exterior that's perfect for lugging to the gym or on your next flight as a carry-on. If you've wanted a version better suited for toting around everyday essentials, you're in luck. The brand just released a miniature version of the popular duffel that rings in at just over one pound and has a 14-liter capacity.
The new Calpak Mini Luka Duffel comes in Matte Black, Chocolate, Oatmeal and Rose Quartz colors and enters with a reasonable $88 price tag. After trying it, you'll see how convenient this bag is for farmers market runs or throwing over your shoulder when rushing to pilates classes.
Improved versions of bestselling e-bikes
Rad Power's RadRunner series just narrowly missed out on making the cut in our best e-bikes guide. A single-speed drivetrain was the main downside, something that limited the RadRunner 2 that we tested to flatter terrain. This week, the company has revealed a refreshed RadRunner lineup complete with quality of life improvements and an entirely new Class 3 model to solve that drivetrain issue.
The company's bestselling utility e-bike series all sport sturdy frames and fat tires to accommodate heavy cargo loads from grocery story trips or even a second passenger via a child's seat. Now they're even better with enhanced weather protection, rear-facing radar detection and a new digital key security. Pricing for the lineup of three new e-bikes starts at $1,499.
Circling back to the new Class 3 model, the RadRunner Max directly addresses our issues with the company's placement in our e-bike guide. This new and improved bike has five levels of pedal-assist and the ability to hit 28 mph top speeds. There's a new torque sensor for evening out rides and a 'Feather Pedal' feature to mimic the smooth acceleration of a car. My favorite part is the new 'RADar' sensor that provides extra peace of mind while cycling. It can notify the rider with an alert on the handlebar-mounted display when a vehicle is approaching from behind without having to take your eyes off the road.
A lightweight pigment formulated to even skin undertones
Jones Road has done it again. The brand helmed by makeup artist Bobbi Brown added to its curation of unique formulations, like the Miracle Balm and the What the Foundation. Debuting in 16 shades, the Just Enough Tinted Moisturizer conceals redness and uneven skin tones with a sheer wash of pigment, while humectants help protect the skin's moisture barrier from water loss, per the brand. All shades are formulated to target different skin undertones too, from pink, neutral, yellow, red and golden. With warming temps, its light finish is fit for summer, priced at $44.
This genderless perfume will be your go-to summer scent
Committing to a perfume has never been easier. This roller bottle is less than one ounce, which makes it portable for nights out on the town and slim enough for throwing into a compact purse. The new Wonder Valley Hinoki Roller scent gives off gentle undertones of smoke and tree bark for a sensual smell and is sure to turn heads when wearing it. The fragrance is essential oil-based, making it easy to roll on and sink into the skin. It's made from the brand's extra virgin California-bred olive oil and doubles as an aromatherapy roller since its hinoki-cedar scent is made to calm your senses upon application.
If you decide to pick up this new release, you'll get a free shampoo sample with your purchase. There's also a landing page full of select bestsellers that are 20% off for Mother's Day.
So many ways to unlock your smart home
The Yale Assure Lock 2 is our favorite smart lock. My colleague reviewed 14 of the best ways to secure your smart home, and the Yale model came out on top for its modular design and ability to integrate with Apple HomeKit, Amazon Alexa and Google Home platforms. Now, you can add another way to integrate the lock into your home with Z-Wave support.
This new lock is the first Z-Wave model from Yale to feature fingerprint unlocking. It integrates directly into ADT's Plus security system and enters as a separate counterpart to our more general purpose best-tested pick. That allows the device to not just unlock the front door with a fingerprint, but also disarm your entire security system at the same time. There's also support for punching in a PIN code.
The new Yale Assure Lock 2 Touch with Z-Wave is now available for purchase directly from Yale with a $280 price tag.
A coveted follow-up to a sold-out debut colalb
If you missed the first Gap x Dôen collaboration, the second clothing capsule is launching online today. The 38-piece collection takes cues from both brands' effortless dressing, featuring feminine silhouettes and easygoing prints. Starting at $34, that includes California-inspired matching sets, linen gingham dresses, denim trouser shorts and more that style easily with one another. It raises the bar from its debut release by expanding into baby and men's apparel, marking the first time Dôen has offered menswear.
Talking about colon health and colonoscopies is cool
After hearing about Worldclass, our associate editor, Elena Matarazzo, couldn't wait to get her hands on the brand's apparel and other accessories. For those who are unfamiliar, Worldclass was created by two colon cancer survivors and now they are using their lived experience to spread awareness about the importance of routine colonoscopies and colon health.
Its sweats being buttery soft is just a bonus — the company's mission to make colonoscopies accessible would be enough of a reason to support the brand. In just 5 years, colon cancer is predicted to be the deadliest cancer for those under 50 years old. All the proceeds from each sale go towards providing colonoscopies for the underinsured.
Earlier this week, the brand came out with an 80s-inspired ringer tee that is sure to kick off a conversation when wearing with 'Colonoscopy Enthusiast' plastered across the front and it is $39. If you're looking for something brighter for the summer, its classic cotton logo tee just got a lime green revamp and is $42. If tees aren't your thing, this neutral perforated snapback hat will be something you'll reach for on sunny beach days or runs and comes in at $45.
This week also saw the launch of other products our editors deemed worthy of standalone coverage. Shop all these additional launches below, including a new instant camera from Polaroid, the latest Lego Star Wars set and more.
Polaroid Flip Instant Camera
This instant camera from the renowned camera brand hits store shelves this week, marking Polaroid's first sonar-backed autofocus system in decades, designed to make it easier to get the perfect shot. Some of the latest features include Bluetooth support and brighter flash.
Lego UCS Jango Fett's Starship Set
Each spring, Lego launches a massive new kit from the Star Wars universe for May the 4th as part of its Ultimate Collector Series . This year's is the first recreation of Jango Fett's ship since all the way back in 2022.
Shokz OpenDots One Open-Ear Headphones
There's a new contender vying for the title of best clip-on earbuds. Shokz is known for its workout-focused buds, and now the company has launched its new OpenDots to compete with the editor-favorite Bose Sport Open.
