Saturday Night Open Thread Offseason Week 10: Draft Bored
Live from Delaware, it's Saturday Night! I, NAS204PSU, am here to bring you this Saturday Night Open Thread (aka SNOT). It's draft season, and everyone is mocking what the Steelers will be doing. No offense to all you draft nicks, but I'm bored with it. (Literally at a friend's house playing board games). Thoughts or feedback appreciated. What is your favorite definition of draft and why? a. preliminary piece of writing b. Compulsory military recruitment c. A current of air d. Beer served directly from a cask or keg e. a process for sports teams to select new players 3. Ok, it's time for an all-time steeler draft. Give me the 7 Steelers greats you'd start a new franchise with in 2025 (assume a Tardis time travels each pick from his original draft day) 4. Shedeur Sanders reportedly failed to impress the Steelers during his pre draft visit . When have you failed to impress someone, and how did things work out in the long run? 5. Easter 3-round Draft: give me your 3 favorite Easter candies. (Note if you are non-Christian/Jewish and feel passed over, give me your top 3 traditional candy/desserts from your religion/culture.) March Madness (or mid-ness if you prefer upsets), is on going, just like the QB limbo situation. Former Steeler Trai Essex is in the news telling Broderick Jones he could be on the outside if he doesn't transition well to left tackle this year. Green Bay has proposed eliminating the tush-push by banning the offense from pushing teammates. Do you support eliminating it or would you rather keep this play? 4. It's Women's History Month and The Steelers are hosting a Girls Flag football league today(highschool and college ages). Given that it's flag football but there are still injury risks, would you advise your daughter/sister/niece/ female friend/etc play flag football? 5. Spring is here, and it's yard sale season.
