Ahead of Shravan, Pahari Temple undergoes repairs and facelift
Ranchi: The Pahari Temple premises is undergoing renovation and beautification works ahead of the auspicious month of Shravan which will commence later this week. Talking to TOI, Ranchi sub-divisional officer Utkarsh Kumar said, "The main temple atop the hill will remain closed for devotees for the next two days while construction workers are fresh tiles.
" Othe repair works include structural strengthening, repainting, and aesthetic upgrades across the premises.
Anticipating a high footfall of devotees throughout the month, the Pahari Mandir Committee will deploy over 200 volunteers, a dedicated control room and enhanced crowd control measures. The temple premises will also get 12 new CCTV cameras in addition to the existing 36, committee members said.
In Khunti, the district administration will set up an Argha at the hilltop Amreshwar Dham and deploy 150 volunteers for crowd control. Satyajit Kundu, an official of the Amreshwar Dham temple, said two giant LED screens will be installed at the temple complex to broadcast live visuals from the sanctum sanctorum and flash important messages.
