Saudi Arabia, Rwanda to establish joint business council
Kigali -- The Federation of Saudi Chambers (FSC) and the Rwanda Private Sector Federation signed an agreement to establish a joint Saudi-Rwandan Business Council to boost economic cooperation between the two countries. The agreement was signed during the Saudi-Rwandan Business Forum in Kigali, attended by a high-level Saudi delegation led by Federation of Saudi Chambers of Commerce Chairman Hassan Alhwaizy. The forum explored investment opportunities in Rwanda, focusing on sectors like tourism, mining, and construction, and discussed strategies to increase trade and investment volumes. The Saudi delegation met with key Rwandan ministers, including those of finance, economy, and agriculture, to explore investment opportunities in sectors such as agriculture; smart cities, including health cities; real estate; and Green City Kigali.

Saudi Arabia, Rwanda Foster Ties with Joint Business Council
Saudi Arabia and Rwanda have taken a new step towards bolstering bilateral economic cooperation by establishing a joint business council. On Thursday, the Federation of Saudi Chambers (FSC) and the Rwanda Private Sector Federation (PSF) signed an agreement to establish a Saudi-Rwandan Business Council to advance economic cooperation between both countries, reported the Saudi Press Agency (SPA). This move came during the Saudi-Rwandan Business Forum, held in Rwanda's capital, Kigali, with the participation of a high-level delegation from the FSC, led by Chairman Hassan bin Moejeb Al-Huwaizi, and 60 Saudi and Rwandan officials and investors. The Saudi-Rwandan Business Forum explored investment opportunities in Rwanda, with a special focus on the promising sectors such as tourism, mining and construction. It also discussed ways to increase trade and investment exchanges and the steps following the creation of the joint business council. Furthermore, the FSC met with 4 Rwandan ministers, including the Minister of Finance and Economic Planning; the Minister of Agriculture and Animal Resources; the Minister of Trade and Industry; and the Minister of Education. The meeting took place at the Rwanda Development Board (RDB), a government institution mandated to accelerate Rwanda's economic development by enabling private sector growth. The meeting introduced to the available investment opportunities in Rwanda, in the sectors of agriculture crops, smart cities, real estate developments, as well as investment opportunities in Kigali Green City, valued at $150mn. Trade between Saudi Arabia and Rwanda is limited, which is a strong indicator of untapped investment opportunities that such visits help to explore with the aim of enhancing bilateral trade and investment. Saudi business delegation to explore Kenya, Tanzania and Rwanda markets
Saudi Gazette report RIYADH — A high-level delegation from the Federation of Saudi Chambers will begin a visit to Kenya, Tanzania and Rwanda on Monday. The delegation will hold meetings with senior government officials in in the three African countries as well as the private sector to discuss investment opportunities and sign important trade agreements and partnerships. The delegation, headed by the Federation's President Hassan Al-Huwaizi, includes more than 25 business owners representing major Saudi investors from various economic sectors and representatives of some government tour comes in line with Saudi Arabia's orientation toward strengthening its relations with the countries of the African continent, to reach more than 1.3 billion people in these promising delegation will begin its visit program in Kenya by holding the Saudi-Kenyan Business Forum. In Tanzania the delegation will hold the Saudi-Tanzanian Business Forum, and will conclude the African visit after holding the Saudi-Rwandan Business Forum in Rwanda. It will meet with a number of ministers, officials and company executives in the three meetings are expected to highlight investment opportunities in Saudi Arabia, Kenya, Tanzania and Rwanda.
