Saudi government services on display at Osaka expo
RIYADH: The Saudi Center for Economic Business demonstrated its roles and services during a workshop at the Saudi pavilion at Expo 2025 in Osaka, Japan. The aim of the workshop was to introduce the model that provides government services directed at the business sector in the Kingdom, the Saudi Press Agency reported on Sunday. During the workshop, the center discussed its roles in enhancing the attractiveness of the business environment in the Kingdom and its impact on facilitating procedures for starting and practicing economic businesses. The workshop highlighted the center's services available to facilitate the journey of investors wishing to enter the Saudi market and invest in development projects and economic components in the Kingdom. The workshop was attended by Japanese business leaders and others interested in investing in the Saudi market. The Saudi Center for Economic Business provides the business sector with more than 6,000 services, in collaboration with 62 government agencies, through a single platform, with the aim of making the Kingdom one of the world's leading countries in the provision of high quality government services to the business sector.

Saudi: Updating commercial registration owner data allows access to all e-services
RIYADH — The Ministry of Commerce has clarified that updating commercial registration owner data electronically allows access to all electronic services provided by the ministry to the business sector in partnership with the Saudi Center for Economic Business. The ministry explained that there are certain terms and conditions for completing the procedures of updating commercial registration. These include an active commercial registration and the age of the applicant should be 18 years or above. The update is not possible for employees who are working in the government sector. There should be at least one manager working in the commercial registration section, in addition to obtaining the manager's approval if the applicant is not the owner of the commercial registration.
