WWE Crown Jewel Moves To New Location, Part Of Three-Event ‘Takeover' In October
WWE Crown Jewel is headed down under. On Friday, WWE confirmed the 2025 Crown Jewel event will take place in Perth, Australia in October. This is one of three events announced as part of WWE's 'Takeover' of Perth later this year. In addition, WWE also confirmed that a RAW and SmackDown taping would take place on the following dates: Advertisement WWE SmackDown – October 10 WWE Crown Jewel – October 11 WWE RAW – October 13 Fans can register for an exclusive presale opportunity at: This is the first time Crown Jewel will take place in Australia, but it's also the first time the event won't take place in Saudi Arabia. Crown Jewel had been exclusive to the country since its inception in 2018. Six events had taken place in Saudi Arabia, part of the WWE's agreement with the Saudi General Entertainment Authority to host two large-scale events in Saudi Arabia per year. It is unknown if WWE will add another Saudi event to the calendar to make up for sending Crown Jewel to Australia this year. WWE last came to Australia for Elimination Chamber 2024. Prior to that, WWE had not been to Australia since 2018. This tour included hosting the WWE Super ShowDown 2018 special event. The Passport to the World is a one-of-a-kind event that celebrates the cultures of expatriate communities in Saudi Arabia, particularly Sudan, India, the Philippines, and Bangladesh. The captivating event will start in Al-Khobar on April 9, 2025, dedicating four days for each community, then it will move to Jeddah. The Passport to the World calendar in Al-Khobar is as follows: Sudan: April 9-12, 2025 India: April 16-19, 2025 The Philippines: April 23-26, 2025 Bangladesh: April 30-May 3, 2025 The event will offer a comprehensive experience that draws inspiration from the cultural and architectural heritage of each country, showcasing traditional clothes and accessories, dance performances, diverse dishes and handicrafts. It will also feature open markets, theaters, and interactive exhibits. The Passport to the World event aims to enhance cultural diversity, highlight the participating countries' heritage, and foster communication between residents and visitors. It also aims to deliver a joyful and educational experience for all family members, in addition to displaying the cultural heritage through arts and food.
