How to save progress in PEAK?

In this game, players need to climb mountains solo or a squad of four. The game might look cartoonish, but players need to keep in mind a lot of things while beginning their journey in PEAK, like stamina management, teamworks, revives, tools & equipment, foods & resources, and many more. Despite being a tedious mountain climbing game, PEAK doesn't feature any respawn, checkpoint, manual or autosave feature. This is what makes the game more adventurous and makes the player more serious about the game. However, sometimes this missing aspect can lead to utter disappointment and rage among the fans. In order to save progress in PEAK, players need to install mods in the game. Players can download the required mods from Thunderstore . As of now, there are only two mods which can save games in PEAK - SavePoint and PEAK Save Manager. It will be easy for the fans to actually install the Thunderstore Mod Manager client. This will simplify the mod downloading and installing process and players can turn on/off the mods from this client whenever they want. With the SavePoint mod, players can create a checkpoint location at their desired spot by pressing F5. Upon pressing F6, they will respawn at that point. However, this checkpoint doesn't work if a player quits the game. Also, respawning doesn't guarantee any of the items or status the player had at the time of saving. The PEAK Save Manager mod is a bit complex as compared to the other one. It also comes with more advanced perks as well, like it respawns all the items and status, can be used even after fully exiting the game, and features multiple checkpoints to choose from.
