Lipholo achieves remarkable success
SHARPEVILLE.– One of Sharpeville's top secondary schools, Mohloli Maths, Science & ICT School of Specialisation with Maritime focus, does not cease to amaze, producing good results consistently. Last week, the school's two Grade 10 learners, Thabiso Malete and Mabitle Lesedi, represented their school in China. This week, the school announced that it is proud of one of its learners, Tebello Lipholo, a Grade Eight who achieved success in the Inkal Oral Research Competitions. The competition aims to promote historical knowledge, creativity, and critical thinking among learners. 'We are proud to announce that Tebello Lipholo, a talented Grade 8 learner, has achieved remarkable success in the Inkal Oral Research Competitions. Tebello's outstanding research skills and presentation abilities have earned him top honours, progressing from the cluster level to the provincial level,' a statement by the school said, adding that the key highlights were: Research Excellence: Tebello demonstrated exceptional research skills, showcasing his ability to investigate and analyse complex topics. Effective Communication: His presentation skills impressed judges at both cluster and provincial levels, highlighting his confidence and clarity in communicating his findings. Achievement: Winning at both cluster and provincial levels is a testament to Tebello's hard work, dedication, and passion for research. 'Congratulations to Tebello Lipholo! We commend Tebello for his outstanding achievement and look forward to seeing his continued growth and success in research and academia.'

Learners represent Mohloli school in China
SHARPEVILLE.- Mohloli Maths, Science & ICT School of Specialisation with Maritime focus Grade 10 learners, Thabiso Malete and Mabitle Lesedi represented their school in China this week. The pair embarked on a journey to China to attend the 2025 World Youth Conference for Peace, scheduled to take place from July 22-30. The school announced that, additionally, the two will participate in the Invention Convention China National Finals for the 2024-2025 academic year and the Youth Science and Innovation Exchange in Zhengzhou, Henan Province. 'As representatives of Sharpeville and Mohloli, they will demonstrate their expertise in coding and robotics. We encourage them to make us proud and fly our flag high,' the school said. Malete and Mothibi departed for the China excursion last week, and they were extremely enthusiastic about it, the school said. 'The school team accompanied them, along with their parents. As a school, we are truly proud to see our young learners having the opportunity to tour the world.'
