Public invited to see rare Scout artefacts at New Forest centre
A normally private Scout activity centre will open to the public.
The Hampshire Scout Heritage Centre at Ferny Crofts Scout Activity Centre, in the New Forest, will welcome pre-booked visitors as part of the Heritage Open Days festival.
This allows non-members of the Scout Association to view displays and artefacts detailing the evolution of Scouting in Hampshire and beyond.
The site, typically closed due to child safeguarding concerns, will host free, hour-long sessions on September 14, 17, and 20, starting at 10am and finishing at 4pm
