Country lane Scraptoft site picked for 200-home estate plan
A 200-home housing estate could be built on a country lane in Leicestershire after plans were put have lodged a planning application for the scheme on farming land off Beeby Road, near Scraptoft, about four miles (6km) from Leicester city project, which would include 80 affordable homes, has been submitted to Harborough District Council by Bloor proposals were approved, the developer said work on the 10.5 hectare (26-acre) site could start between 2026 and 2027.
