Manhunt Underway for Dad of 3 Missing Daughters Found Dead

Originally appeared on E! Online A tragedy is unfolding in Washington State. Days after the bodies of Travis Decker's three daughters Paityn, 9, Evelyn, 8, and Olivia, 5, were discovered in Chelan County near his truck, police are searching for the 32-year-old. "A Chelan County deputy located Decker's vehicle near the Rock Island Campground accessed by Icicle Road. The vehicle was unoccupied," Wenatchee police said in a June 3 statement. "Additional law enforcement officers responded and searched the immediate area. During the search, the bodies of the three missing girls were discovered." "Decker is currently wanted for 3 counts of Murder 1st degree and Kidnapping 1st degree," the statement continued. "Decker is a former Military with extensive training. It is unknown whether Decker is currently armed, but he may pose a significant risk, if approached." The girls' mother had filed a civil complaint May 30, saying her daughters had not returned after a planned visitation with their father, the Wenatchee Police Department said. More from E! Wenatchee police said in their statement that the Washington State Patrol was contacted the day the girls were reported missing to request an AMBER Alert. "However," the police added, "it did not meet the required criteria." The department said its detectives contacted WSP again May 31 with additional information and an Endangered Missing Person Alert was issued. "In a situation where a custodial parent is late returning children to another parent," a Washington State Patrol spokesperson told NBC News, "law enforcement does not automatically have clear indication that the children are in danger." He said that on May 31, the state patrol issued an endangered missing person alert, meant for people who are unable to "assist in their own recovery" and that it "accomplished much the same public notification/outreach as an AMBER alert would have." As the search for Decker continues, police are asking for help. "Any member of the public who believes they may have seen Decker since Friday May 30th, and/or know his current whereabouts are asked to call 911 immediately," the authorities emphasized. "Due to safety concerns, do not attempt to contact or approach Decker." (E! and NBC News are both part of the NBCUniversal family.) For the latest breaking news updates, click here to download the E! Sarah Silverman reveals ‘SNL' makes ‘you feel like a piece of s–t' — and credits A-lister who saved her after firing

Salty about 'SNL.' Sarah Silverman, 54, reflected on her one-season stint on 'Saturday Night Live' during a recent appearance on 'The Howard Stern Show.' The comedian was a writer and cast member during Season 19 (which aired from 1993 to 1994), but she got fired after just one season. Advertisement Silverman called being on the show 'so magical' and 'so amazing.' But, she explained, there was also 'just something about it where they just have this energy that puts you in your place where you feel like a piece of sh-t, and you're terrified. The anxiety… it's very hard to be zen and chill there.' 5 Sarah Silverman on 'The Howard Stern Show.' NBC 5 Kevin Nealon and Sarah Silverman during 'Weekend Update' skit on October 23, 1993. It was very honest — I thought a lot of people connected to it that were there. We all feel like losers here for some reason.' She was referring to one of Samberg's sketches during the show's 50th anniversary special in February. Silverman and Stern have been friends for years – in 2008, when Stern married his wife, Beth Ostrosky, Silverman attended his wedding with her then-boyfriend, Jimmy Kimmel. She added that she wasn't fired for any particular or personal reason, it was business as usual for the NBC variety show. 'Conan was the best thing for me,' Silverman said. 'That was his first year [on 'Late Night'], was my first and only year at 'SNL.' And he put me on all the time, even after I was fired, all the time, and that was the start for me,' she explained. 'And I wouldn't have been able to be on Conan without 'SNL.' And it was an incredible kind of boot camp experience.'

Ellen Pompeo on why she won't ever leave 'Grey's Anatomy, "Everyone will profit...except me"

Ellen Pompeo is finally breaking down why walking away from Grey's Anatomy completely was never an option, for her heart or her bank account. In a new interview with Spanish publication El País, Pompeo explained that even though she stepped down as a full-time cast member after Season 19 (which aired in 2022), she's stayed close to the series with voiceovers and occasional appearances for a reason: quitting entirely just wouldn't make sense. 'The show was streamed more than a billion times in 2024 – more than a billion times,' the actress emphasized. Pompeo, now 55, didn't hold back about the financial imbalance she sees behind the scenes. 'The companies that own the show and stream the show make a lot of money from our images and our voices and our faces,' she said. 'If I were to walk away completely, everybody gets to make money from my hard work for 20 years and I wouldn't make any money.' Known for playing Dr. Meredith Grey for two decades, Pompeo also serves as an executive producer. And she knows exactly what her continued presence means to fans and the franchise alike. 'To me, it doesn't make any sense that everybody else gets to profit off of my hard work,' she told El País. 'And emotionally, the show means a lot to people. I want to have an attitude of gratitude toward the show.' Outside the hospital scrubs, Pompeo has also been exploring darker, more complex roles—like her portrayal of Kristine Barnett in Hulu's Good American Family. 'Well, this is a limited series, so I won't appear as this character again,' she confirmed. 'I was just looking for something that was very different from Meredith Grey, and this offer presented itself.' Still, no matter what new projects come her way, Pompeo is keeping one foot firmly planted in the Grey's universe—because walking away entirely would mean everyone wins but her.
