Things to Do 🏎️ The Detroit Grand Prix, which returned to downtown in 2023, has races and events downtown all weekend, culminating with the main race on Sunday from 12:30-3pm. Ticket prices vary. 🎸 Tied Down Detroit, the city's annual hardcore music festival, is Saturday and Sunday at the Russell Industrial Center. Turnstile was recently added as a headliner to the long list of performers. Two-day passes, $184. 🎆 Swing into summer with the 44th annual Capuchin Souper Summer Celebration at Comerica Park at 7:30pm on Saturday. Entry is free and there will be food, drinks, music, a fireworks show and a live raffle for jewelry from AHEE Jewelers in Grosse Pointe Woods. Dressy summer attire is suggested; 21 and up. 🍿 Prom horror flick "Carrie" is playing at the Senate Theater at 8pm on Saturday for a fundraiser to buy a new projector. Tickets, $15; doors open at 6pm. ♟️ Play board games at Vault of Midnight's monthly board game event on Sunday from 5-8pm at Florian East brewery in Hamtramck. Tickets, $5. 🥦 Spring VegFest at Eastern Market from 10am-4pm on Sunday is a daylong plant-based food celebration with nearly 100 vendors, cooking demonstrations, a lineup of speakers and free food samples. Free! 🎤 Detroit Diamond, featured on season two of Netflix's "Rhythm + Flow," is performing at El Club on Friday at 8pm.

Saturday, 7:30-9:30pm. $10. 🇬🇷 Vibe in Greektown during the 23rd Detroit Greek Independence Day Parade. Sunday, 3pm. Free! 🤨 Experience a play in which the lead actor has absolutely no idea what's going on: "Dress Rehearsal" at Planet Ant. Friday and Saturday at 8pm. $30 online, $35 at the door. 👕 Tangent Gallery is hosting a flea market Sunday with makers' goods as well as thrifted finds. Sunday, 2-6pm. Free admission! 🖊️ Zines, or self-publish booklets on topics ranging from art to politics to media fandom, will be on full display at Detroit Zine Fest at the Jam Handy. Saturday, 12-6pm. Free admission! 🎶 Dance 'til your legs give out (or dance for three minutes and then sit down) with the Secret Garden at Deluxx Fluxx downtown. Arrive early to avoid waits. Saturday, 9pm-2am. Free admission. 💃 Attend a dance performance showcase by Heels with Nikki at the Detroit Public Theatre.
