Special train service between Tirunelveli and Tiruchendur on July 7
Southern Railway will operate special trains between Tirunelveli and Tiruchendur on Monday in connection with the consecration of Lord Subramania Swami temple at Tiruchendur.
Train No 06101 Tirunelveli-Tiruchendur special will leave Tirunelveli at 9.15 a.m. on Monday and arrive Tiruchendur at 10.50 a.m.
In the return direction, Train No. 06102 Tiruchendur-Tirunelveli special will leave Tiruchendur at 11.20 a.m. on the same day and arrive Tirunelveli at 12.55 p.m.
The special train will stop at Palayamkottai, Seydunganallur, Srivaikundam, Nazareth, Kurumbur and Arumuganeri.
Diversion of train services:
Meanwhile, diversion of Sengottai-Mayiladurai Express has been announced on certain days in July.
Train No.16848 Sengottai - Mayiladuthurai Express scheduled to leave Sengottai on July 1, 2, 4, 5, 7, 8, 9, 11, 12, 14, 15, 16 and July 30 would be diverted through Virudhunagar, Manamadurai, Karaikkudi and Tiruchi.
The train will skip its stoppages at Kalligudi, Tirumangalam, Tirupparankundram, Madurai Junction, Kodaikkanal Road, Dindigul, Vadamadurai, Vaiyampatti and Manapparai.
It will have additional stoppages at Aruppukottai, Manamadurai, Sivaganga, Karaikkudi, Pudukottai and Tiruchi in the diverted route.
