Everything We Know About Mariah Carey's Sixteenth Album, "Here For It All"

The superstar announced that her sixteenth studio album, Here For It All, will officially drop in September. She first teased the news on July 20 by sharing a video on social media of all of her album covers played against a medley of some of her greatest hits. '#MC16 🦋,' the caption read. On the morning of July 21, she confirmed the news by sharing yet another video, this time featuring herself strutting in front of a blown-up image of her new album cover. Here For It All will officially release on September 26. The album is currently available for pre-order. Pre-Save the Album on Spotify The lead single is already out. Carey dropped Here For It All's first single and accompanying music video back in June. 'Type Dangerous,' a hypnotic dance song, was co-written and co-produced with Carey has also since released several remixes of 'Type Dangerous' with Big Sean, Busta Rhymes, DJ Snake, and Luísa Sonza. Mariah has been working on this album for years. Carey previously confirmed that new music was on the way during a November 2023 appearance on Good Morning America. 'I've been working... on just writing new songs,' she said at the time. 'Yesterday we were in the studio working on something with a choir, working on a new song. So it's exciting.' She continued to tease the project in a May 2024 interview with Variety. 'I've written some new songs,' she told the outlet. 'You know, I'm excited about it. I have to figure out which songs I'm going to do and which songs I'm not going to do. But I think I'm very excited about it.' Warner Bros has released a new teaser trailer for Leonardo DiCaprio's wild looking new film One Battle After Another , which was written and directed by Paul Thomas Anderson ( There Will Be Blood, Licorice Pizza ). The film is inspired by Thomas Pynchon's postmodern 1990 novel Vineland. The story centers on a father who has left behind his radical past and is now living a quiet life on the lam with his daughter. But, when Sean Penn's white supremacist Colonel character returns from the past to track them down, they have to go on the run. The movie looks like it going to give us a bonkers movie-going experience. The novel was set during the President Regan era, but this film is set in modern times to reflect what is happening now. The cast also features Regina Hall, Sean Penn, Alana Haim, Teyana Taylor, Wood Harris, Benicio del Toro, as well as Shayna McHayle. The movie is set to be released on September 26th. Shura Council mourns passing of member Saleh Abdullah Sail
Sana'a – Saba: The Shura Council has mourned the passing of its member, the struggler and poet Saleh Abdullah Nasser Sail, who passed away at 82 after a life rich in national, political, and literary contributions, and service to society. In its obituary, the Council praised the late Sail for his commendable virtues, integrity, and dedication in all the roles he held throughout his career. He served as Secretary-General of the Liberation Front Party, a member of the Supreme Revolutionary Committee, and a key figure in the Council's Political and Foreign Relations Committee. The Council highlighted his contributions as a freedom fighter in the September 26 and October 14 revolutions, his role in achieving Yemeni unity, and his influence on the literary scene through revolutionary and patriotic poetry expressing the aspirations and struggles of the people. He also played a significant role in opposing aggression and supporting the Palestinian cause. The Shura Council extended its heartfelt condolences to his son, Mohammed Saleh Sail, and all the Sail family in the Lower Markha District of Shabwah Governorate. Dr. Bin Habtoor condoles on activist poet Saleh Sayel death
Sana'a - Saba : Dr. Abdulaziz bin Habtoor, member of the Supreme Political Council, sent a cable of condolences on the death of Shura Council member, activist and poet Saleh Abdullah Nasser Sayel, at the age of 82, most of which was filled with national struggle and giving. In the telegram he sent to the deceased's son, Mohammed, and all members of the family and the Sayel family in the Lower Markha District, Shabwa province in general, the Supreme Political Council member praised the liberation and unity roles of the deceased Sayel as one of the revolutionaries of the Yemeni Revolution of September 26 and October 14 and defenders of their noble national and humanitarian goals. He touched on the literary and poetic works of the deceased, which embodied his revolutionary spirit and the sincerity of belonging and loyalty to the great Yemen, stressing that Yemen has lost a great fighter, an inspiring poet and a human being known for his kindness , love for his community and country. Sana'a - Saba : Prime Minister Ahmed Ghaleb Al-Rahwi sent a cable of condolences on the death of Shura Council member, activist and poet Saleh Abdullah Nasser Sayel, at the age of 82, who spent most of his life in the service of the homeland.
