#SHOWBIZ: Cik B: 'Not all Gen Z lazy, I earn over RM500k a month'
KUALA LUMPUR: The daughter of famous entrepreneur Datuk Seri Vida, Cik B, recently revealed her monthly income exceeds RM500,000, challenging the generalisation that Gen Z are not known for being hardworking.
The 20-year-old, whose real name is Nur Edlynn Zamileen Muhammad Amin, shared this information in a TikTok post.
While she did not disclose the exact amount, the influencer, who also dabbles in singing, said: "My monthly income is over RM500,000. But I can't tell you the actual amount."
In a message to young people aspiring to succeed, she advised: "We need to constantly push ourselves to work hard even if we don't like it. We also need to identify our interests. Once we know what we are interested in, we will be more enthusiastic about committing ourselves to it."
When asked to comment further about Gen Z, she offered: "Maybe some are lazy because of their lifestyle. Perhaps they are comfortable with their existing life. And some might have some mental health issues, but of course, you can never use that as an excuse all the time from wanting to improve yourselves."
