Reward for tortoise, 43, thought to have been stolen

A woman in South Wales, whose 43-year-old tortoise is thought to have been stolen, has issued an appeal to help locate him - more than a month since he was last seen. Ann Thatcher, whose tortoise Sesame went missing from his home in Neath, South Wales, is still hoping to be reunited with her beloved pet. The 76-year-old told Sky News Sesame had been part of her family since he was bought in a shop in Cardiff 43 years ago. "He's been through five cats, two dogs, two daughters, four grandchildren and various members of the family who've loved him and now gone, so he really is a family member," she said. "And I just can't believe somebody has taken him like that with no thought or regard for him or for us." Her young grandson is particularly upset at the thought of Sesame having been taken away. Sesame would spend most of his time out in the garden, before he would "toddle off to his little house" in the evening. While police have been informed, there was "very little they can do" without further evidence, Mrs Thatcher said. She is now offering a £500 reward to anyone who reunites her with her pet tortoise. Sesame, who Mrs Thatcher described as "quite a frisky male", damaged his shell last year and requires medication. "After having him, cared for him after all this time, now he's not going to be so well treated," Mrs Thatcher added. "He obviously isn't, because they don't know him. And that's what bothers me now is that, will he even survive?" A change in the law was introduced in England and Northern Ireland last year, meaning that anyone convicted of stealing a pet in those nations could face up to five years in prison - but it only extends to cat and dog abduction. Pet theft is a criminal offence in Wales but is not covered by the Pet Abduction Act introduced last year. "We're talking about a living thing here, not items," said Mrs Thatcher. "He's older than my youngest daughter. He's grown up with so many people, it's just wrong, it's cruel to take him away."

Udon carbonara is an Asian fusion staple; this is a smart rendition, the chewy, cheese-scattered noodles served alongside soy-glazed thick-cut bacon, oozy egg yolk and a little dashi broth, which helps smooth the flavours and lighten the dish. Avocado toast is a cheery pile of lightly charred avo (smoky, but not warm or gross), spicy hummus and wasabi 'granola' (grains stirred with blitzed wasabi peas, which is a clever touch). The same granola base, this time mixed with cocoa rather than peas, is scattered over an acai bowl which amps up the colour and flavours with tropical fruit and a fudgy square of brownie. As winter hits, look for hot waffles instead of chilly acai. Wagyu mince is turned into a spiced pattie, crumbed, fried and splodged with curry pickle mayo for the milk-loaf sandwich. Tapping into trends and hype can feel cynical, but Sana is more about joy, fun and a sincere welcome. Yes, there's a not-so-secret menu, but the real secret to Sana's success is that Chrun and his team are still surprised and grateful that people are seeking out the place: if you whisk it, they will come. Three more matcha specialists to try Matcha Kobo This new city spot stone-mills matcha then whisks it to order for specialty hot and cold drinks. There's table seating, but you can really channel Kyoto by sitting cross-legged on cushions in the faux temple area. Kobo is above DIY Japanese burger grill Nikuland, also worth a visit. 2/258 Lonsdale Street, Melbourne, Meet Forest Too much cute is never enough at tiny Meet Forest. Desserts include multi-layered matcha crepe cakes, matcha mochi and matcha Basque cheesecakes. There's a miniature dressed-up dog called Sesame, and coffee is taken seriously too. Naau They're both green, earthy and nutty, so why wouldn't pistachio go with matcha? One-year-old Naau is a small city cafe that does matcha every which way, including a hot, frothy pistachio version, which could be my winter winner.

Health-E Commerce® launches Collaboration with Healthcare Marketplace Sesame to Expand Access to Mental Health and Dermatology Care on FSA Store® and HSA Store®

The new collaboration reduces wait times for individuals who need care and delivers savings for millions of people who are enrolled in tax-free FSAs and HSAs DALLAS, May 19, 2025 /PRNewswire/ -- Health-E Commerce, the parent brand to FSA and HSA Store, the first and leading online stores that sell only products and telehealth services that are eligible for flexible spending account (FSA) and health savings account (HSA) use, announced today a new collaboration that makes virtual mental health and dermatology care from Sesame available on FSA Store and HSA Store. Sesame is the company that offers Americans quality, convenient health care at half the typical price, making it ideal for cash-pay patients and a great solution for those with FSAs or HSAs. The collaboration expands Health-E Commerce's footprint in guaranteed-eligible telehealth services, empowering consumers to invest their tax-free healthcare funds in personalized treatment for holistic mental health and dermatology needs. "It can take weeks or even months to get an appointment with a specialist, such as a dermatologist or mental health provider, due to continued healthcare provider shortages, but the growth in telehealth can alleviate this problem in many practice areas," said Keri Kaiser, chief revenue officer for Health-E Commerce. "Our new collaboration with Sesame delivers on our mission to give consumers as many options as possible to address their unique health needs in a timely, cost-effective manner." As a result of this collaboration, individuals and families who are enrolled in an FSA or HSA can access affordable treatment from thousands of licensed Sesame providers covering all 50 United States. Dermatology services include custom treatment plans and prescriptions for conditions such as acne, eczema, and rosacea, all starting at $59 a month. Mental health services provide unlimited messaging and video visits with a dedicated and qualified provider for only $79 a month. Most Sesame services are eligible to be used with FSA and HSA funds and allow individuals to skip lengthy prior authorization processes and even longer wait times that come with traditional, in-person care. This launch comes at a time when consumer demand for flexible, affordable care has never been higher. Sesame leverages classic marketplace dynamics to reshape healthcare delivery by requiring clinicians to compete on quality, accessibility and price. Virtual consultations lead to convenience and privacy for patients, allowing them to access care from anywhere, at any time. As most Americans continue to seek smarter and more affordable ways to manage their health and budgets, Sesame's easy-to-use platform removes barriers and expands possibilities for proactive management of individualized healthcare needs. "The marketplace effect of Sesame has very tangible benefits. Simply stated, when clinicians compete, patients win," said Michael DiLorenzo, Sesame's chief marketing officer. "By working with Health-E Commerce, Sesame is extending access to millions of individuals and families who are covered by FSAs and HSAs, and helping them put their tax-free health dollars to work in ways that matter most to them." Sesame has been ranked the #1 overall telehealth provider by Healthline five consecutive years and was named "Best for Doctor Choice" by Forbes (2023-2025). The platform has earned widespread recognition for its user-friendly interface, which allows patients to choose their providers, complete virtual visits, and access same-day prescription refills – all from the comfort of their home.
