Wrecslam! (4 - 7 Aug) Four short plays based in North-East Wales created specially for the Eisteddfod by Theatr Clwyd with Theatr Cymru. There's a tale of sassy sisters, a wicked wizard and a rather large talking bear for all the family in Mewn Gwlad Bellennig. Theatr Clwyd will be also be hosting several talks. Sesiwn Gymorth: Gweithio ym Myd y Theatr (8 Aug) is an informal chat with advice about working in the arts, while Sgwrs Banel – Ein Hadeilad Eco-gyfeillgar (8 Aug) is a chance to hear about Theatr Clwyd's new eco-friendly building and includes chef Bryn Williams talking about his new restaurant. Noson Y Wal Goch (7 Aug) Perfect for Welsh football fans. This features Yws Gwynedd's anthem Ni Fydd Wal (Euro 2020), Candelas' Rhedeg i Paris (Euro 2016) and the acclaimed Tara Bandito. Noson gyda Gruff Rhys a'r Band (8 Aug) Super Furry Animals' Gruff Rhys will be appearing to perform his brand-new Welsh songs with support from Griff Lynch, exciting new band Wrkhouse and Ynys. Gruff Rhys (Image: William Aston Hall) Parti Cloi'r Eisteddfod (9 Aug) The closing party of the festival featuring Blodau Papur, Alys Williams, Osian and Branwen Williams, Dafydd Huws, Aled Huws, Mark Roberts (founding member of Catatonia) and Bob Delyn a'r Ebillion. National Youth Brass Band of Wales (21 Aug) The band will deliver a dazzling programme including the winner of the 2022 BBC Young Musician of the Year, Jordan Ashman. Susie Dent (Image: William Aston Hall) Word Perfect (23 Aug) Countdown co-presenter and Queen of Dictionary Corner, Susie Dent, brings with her new tour with brand-new collection of facts and stories from the wonderful world of words. Read more Dino Tales (30 Aug) Finally, for Jurassic joy there's fun for the family, an unforgettable family adventure starring Europe's largest walking dinosaurs to ever roam the stage. Summer at Theatr Clwyd brings not one but two comedy clubs nights on Monday 4 and Sunday, August 31. The line ups include Live at the Apollo and Roast Battle star Stephen Bailey, Peter Brush (Jason Manford support), Kent Cameron, Karen Bayley ('consistently hilarious' Joe Lycett), Lou Conran (Sarah Millican support), Howard Anstock, Louise Leigh and Harry Stachini.
