Doja Cat and Jack Harlow Throw a Dinner Party with John Mayer, Matt Damon and More Celebs in New 'Just Us' Video

Who knew Doja Cat and Jack Harlow's friend group was so star-studded? The two rappers teamed up for a flirty new collaboration, "Just Us," and released the song on March 21 alongside a music video set at a dinner party with celebrity cameos from John Mayer, Matt Damon and more stars. The lyrics of "Just Us" find Harlow, 27, rapping provocative lyrics about wanting to be with only Doja, 29, while surrounded by other people. "I wish it was just us in this bitch / But they can't trust us in this bitch," he says on the chorus. The video, filmed at the restaurant Horses in Los Angeles, shows the two artists at dinner, seated separately but sneaking away to spend some private time together near the bar. Eventually, they make their way to the kitchen to get away from the crowd. Throughout the clip, many celebrities appear at the restaurant — Mayer, Damon, PinkPantheress, Nicholas Braun, Taylor Rooks, Malcolm Todd, DJ Drama and more. Damon's appearance in the video comes after him and Harlow costarred in the 2024 heist comedy film The Instigators. "I felt privileged to be surrounded by that level of talent so early in my career," he told Variety last year about the movie, which also featured Casey Affleck. The "Say So" musician sang "Diamonds Are Forever" at the awards show and spoke out in response to critics of her vocal performance afterward. "I never get to sing like that and what I did was brave and scary as f--- for me," she said in a candid Instagram post. "I know a lot of people didn't like it but a lot of people did and I feel good that I pushed myself," added Doja. Read the original article on People

Jack Harlow and Doja Cat release new single Just Us with surprise celebrity cameos

Jack Harlow and Doja Cat have joined forces for a new single, Just Us, which was released on Thursday night. The collaboration comes with an accompanying music video featuring notable celebrity cameos from John Mayer, Matt Damon, and Succession star Nicholas Braun. A teaser for the song was shared earlier in the day on Harlow's Instagram, where he can be heard rapping, 'I wish it was just us in this b***h / But they can trust us in this b***h,' while seated at a restaurant table. The full music video continues the restaurant theme, showing Harlow and Doja Cat engaging in flirtatious exchanges, dancing at the bar, and moving through the kitchen. Harlow has been gaining momentum in 2025, having recently released Set You Free in February. Prior to that, he kept a relatively low profile in 2024, releasing only two singles, Hello Miss Johnson and Tranquility. His last full-length project, Jackman, came out in 2023 and was followed by the success of Lovin' on Me, which topped the Billboard Hot 100. Doja Cat has also had a strong start to the year. Before Just Us, she collaborated with Raye and Blackpink's Lisa on the track Born Again. Her 2023 album Scarlet peaked at No. 4 on the Billboard 200, and she later released an expanded edition, Scarlet 2 Claude. The Paint the Town Red singer continues to make waves in the industry with high-profile collaborations and chart-topping releases. With Just Us, Harlow and Doja Cat bring together their signature styles in a highly anticipated track that further cements their presence in the music industry.

It's a good night to be Jack Harlow and Doja Cat fans. The two artists teamed up for a new single, 'Just Us,' which dropped on Thursday night. There are also several surprise celebrity cameos in the music video from John Mayer, Matt Damon and Nicholas Braun. So far, it's been a busy 2025 for Harlow as he released his first single of the year, 'Set You Free,' last month. The rapper was mostly quiet on the new-music front in 2024, only dropping two singles, 'Hello Miss Johnson' and 'Tranquility.' The tracks followed his second studio album drop, Jackman, in 2023, as well as his hit single 'Lovin' on Me,' which topped the Billboard Hot 100 chart. As for Doja Cat, 'Just Us' isn't her first music collab of the year. Last month, she teamed up with Raye and Blackpink's Lisa for 'Born Again.' The 'Paint The Town Red' artist also released her fourth studio album, Scarlet, in 2023 — which peaked at No. 4 on the Billboard Hot 200 chart — before dropping an expanded version, Scarlet 2 Claude, last year. A Photo Of Jack Harlow Alone On Valentine's Day Is Going Viral, And The Discourse Is Very Relatable

Jack Harlow's most recent dinner date has the internet talking. Jni / GC Images, Lexie Moreland / WWD via Getty Images On Feb. 14, aka Valentine's Day — the day when chocolate, candy, and flower sales skyrocket — Jack surprised everyone when he was spotted a very popular New York restaurant. In a photo shared by Pop Crave, the "Lovin' On Me" rapper was seen dining at the iconic French bistro in SoHo, Balthazar. If you remember, it's the same restaurant that James Corden was banned from for being what the owner described as the "most abusive customer" and "extremely nasty." Fortunately, the owner later claimed that James apologized and that everything had been forgiven. Celebrities hit up hot spots like Balthazar all the time, but this particular sighting went viral because Jack was riding solo... on Valentine's Day. (See the photo here.) Lexie Moreland / WWD via Getty Images Honestly, the "What's Poppin" rapper looked at peace sitting there solo, and I can't help but think he's a creative genius who's indirectly promoting his latest single (pun intended), "Set You Free," which just dropped on Feb. 12. In "Set You Free," he literally starts the verse off, "I want to be alone / more than ever / Less free time / more endeavors / Less romance, get more cheddar." On Jan. 8, Jack released "Tranquility," so it's fair to say that this new rollout has a theme. On Feb. 13, Jack also posted on his X account about a time he was majorly curbed by date and received "2 hugs" and no kiss — so the atmosphere for a solo date was set several days prior. Whatever the reason Jack was 🎶 all by myself 🎶 at Balthazar may be, the viral image generated interesting discourse online, with some people making obvious jokes and plenty of others supporting his choice and sharing their sentiments. Some people joked that he wasn't alone and was waiting for them to arrive from the bathroom or traffic. Disney / Twitter: @Will25800 And a lot of people supported Jack's "quality me time" and brought up great points about normalizing doing activities on your own: "Nothing wrong with enjoying your own company sometimes, it's the best choice," one person wrote. "Shoutout to Jack Harlow for not being afraid to have a meal by yourself. Especially on Valentine's Day. As someone who does stuff solo all of the time, it's pretty nice." — u/Chessh2036 Another person wrote, "This is a boss move. Shows how much he loves himself." "Going out to a restaurant by yourself is genuinely so good. People need to stop judging and go do it. Edit to add: if you haven't done it, go to a movie by yourself as well. It's ok to do things alone that people typically associate with groups." — u/WrongVisit3757 Redditor u/princedubacon perfectly summed up their support with an iconic Donna Meagle from Parks and Rec quote: — u/princedubacon "I used to feel really self conscious about it. Now my main joy in life is going to yum cha by myself and eating a whole lot of dumplings and drinking tea and reading a book." — u/azaerl "Looks like Jack Harlow is enjoying some quality 'me time' on Valentine's Day in NYC!" this person wrote. Another person suggested we "Leave bro alone 😭😭😭 he's just like us." And finally, this person wrote, "Normalize eating out alone. Cuz this shouldn't even be news or anything serious." Do you think there are benefits to "enjoying your own company" and doing activities alone? Let's talk about it in the comments. I'll go first: I went to a three-day music festival two years ago by myself, and I used to be a person who couldn't go grocery shopping at Trader Joe's alone. It was the most nerve-wracking and liberating experience, and it felt great that I was finally experiencing life based on my schedule and not others. It also led to a fun brief romance at a Kim Petras set.
