ShaMaran Reports Incident at Sarsang Facility

VANCOUVER, BC , July 15, 2025 /CNW/ - ShaMaran Petroleum Corp. ("ShaMaran" or the "Company") (TSXV: SNM) (Nasdaq First North: SNM) has been informed by HKN Energy Ltd. ("HKN"), the operator of the Sarsang Block in the Kurdistan Region of Iraq , that an explosion occurred earlier today at approximately 7:00 AM local time at one of the production facilities in the Sarang field. All personnel have been safely accounted for, and no injuries have been reported. HKN has initiated a full assessment of the situation and is coordinating closely with local authorities and relevant stakeholders to manage the response and ensure the safety of surrounding communities. Operations at the field have been suspended until the site is secure and a full evaluation is completed. ShaMaran and HKN are committed to the highest standards of safety and environmental responsibility and will provide further updates as more information becomes available. ShaMaran Reports Partial Bond Repayment

VANCOUVER, BC, April 8, 2025 /CNW/ - ShaMaran Petroleum Corp. ("ShaMaran" or the "Company") (TSXV: SNM) (Nasdaq First North: SNM) announces that it will repay a portion of the 12% senior unsecured bond (ISIN NO0011057622) (the "Bond") on April 30, 2025. The Company expects to repay approximately $29.4 million (17% of the current total outstanding amount) at par pro rata to all bondholders utilizing the cash sweep mechanism under the amended and restated Bond terms dated June 27, 2024. The total outstanding amount of the Bond following the partial repayment will be approximately $143.8 million, representing a reduction of approximately 28% compared to the amount outstanding at the end of 2024. At April 7, 2025, the Company had cash of approximately $79.4 million before the partial bond repayment described above. Pro forma for the partial bond repayment, net debt would be approximately $109.4 million (including the $143.8 million bond and $15.6 million related-party loan).
