Capital Governor Reaffirms Commitment to Community Partnership and Worker Empowerment on International Labour Day
His Excellency Shaikh Rashid bin Abdulrahman bin Rashid Al Khalifa, Capital Governor, reaffirmed the governorate's strong commitment to engaging in both local and international events through collaborative efforts with civil society organizations. These efforts, he stated, are key to enhancing social bonds and upholding the principle of community partnership. This statement came during a special ceremony held to mark International Labour Day, where the Capital Governor honoured the governorate's employees in recognition of their dedication and meaningful contributions. The event was held in the presence of Deputy Capital Governor Hassan Abdullah Al Madani. In his address, HE Shaikh Rashid praised the role of workers as essential contributors to Bahrain's continued development.
