Treasure Island announces multi-day music festival with Shakey Graves, Soul Asylum
The Music by the Mississippi festival, which Treasure Island Resort and Casino debuted last year, is getting bigger in its second installment. The 2025 edition will be a two-day affair headlined by Shakey Graves and Soul Asylum at Treasure Island Amphitheater on July 25 and 26. It's an expansion of last year's inaugural event, which was headlined by the Gear Daddies and BoDeans. On July 25, the festival will feature Shane Smith & the Saints, the James Whatton Band, and Trenton Fletcher. The shorter Friday night concert will be followed by a show starting at 1 p.m. on Saturday. It'll be headlined by Shakey Graves, the indie-roots project of singer-songwriter Alejandro Rose-Garcia. Soul Asylum, Wild Horses, Charlie Parr, and the Mike Munson Trio will also perform on Saturday. More artists will be added later, per Treasure Island. Tickets for the festival will go on sale Friday, Jan. 31. Unlike many other summer festivals, this one is priced like a fairly standard concert, with tickets starting at $40. A corporate-branded VIP ticket that includes free food, a private bar, and an elevated seating area is also available for $258. Single-day tickets go on sale March 4.
